So the guides generally say mastery>=crit>verse>haste with mastery being the highest because of how prodigious savant works, but I notice that most of the high end arcane mages have quite a bit of versatility (around 15%). What is the ideal break down of stats? 30% C, 21% H, and what?
vers is great for m+ because living is the best form of dps but just in general sim yourself
Yeah lots of high end players prioritize vers for survival because they’re pushing the limits of what’s possible. But unless you’re at the cutting edge you won’t get as much value out of vers.

With vers flask and motw im up ariund 17 vers.
Been pumping and never have mana issues.

Arcane’s stats are actually relatively close and competitive. When I run sims, sometimes the game tells me to replace a high haste item but then change my enchants to haste to compensate.
If you look at BloodMallet’s stat distributions, their ratio is something like 3 crit/mast to 2 haste/verse (and I believe that’s added amounts, so not counting our baseline values, but I could be wrong).
What this usually ends up meaning for us is that iLevel upgrades will usually be better than trying to min-max stats.
Yeah that sounds about what i follow, I remember haste having break points for AB, i usually try and keep my haste in one of those brackets.
I think it used to be on altered time, but don’t see that around any more.
I wanna say it was at 18% then again at 21% ( maybe 20.5) to change the cast times ?
That was really only ever a thing in the first tier of BfA if you didn’t have Overwhelming Power Azerite traits and because of Missiles not being used at all during Arcane Power and RoP; ever since those haste breakpoints have been way too minor of a damage gain to bother thinking about.
The website doesn’t really get used anymore since they fully shifted to the Discord server; Toegrinder’s Magehub website and Porom’s Wowhead guide are generally up to date for whatever the current patch is.
