Arcane Spellslinger rotation

Could someone give me a link on the optimal arcane slinger rotation?
Thank you.

It starts with this:

  1. Evocation
  2. Trinket
  3. Arcane Surge
  4. Touch of the Magi
  5. Arcane Missiles
  6. Arcane Barrage
  7. Arcane Orb
  8. And then it’s freestyle from there depending on how many Clearcasting procs we get. The goals are to not run out of mana and to consume Nether Precision for more Arcane Splinters, and those goals are easily accomplished by using Arcane Barrage after Arcane Missiles to consume Nether Precision.
  9. If you are going to have to move, Arcane Missiles procs can be channeled during movement phases. Otherwise, take Ice Floes to cast a spell while moving.
  10. If you take Unerring Proficiency hero talent, allow it to stack as high as possible before hitting Supernova for a big instant damage spell.

No no no. You want to use Arcane Blast to consume Nether Precision and on the 2nd Arcane Blast you want to queue up Arcane Barrage to double dip on the 2nd Nether Precision. You never use Arcane Barrage on the 1st one because then you have 0 charges and effectively waste the 2nd one.

If you are taking Unerring Proficiency you are lining it up with Touch of the Magi every time regardless of how many stacks it has. You shouldn’t be taking it though.

This is the correct SS rotation.

You. Always use arcane blast 2x to consume NP and spell queue a barrage at the end of the cast time of the second AB.

My bad. Typing things out while not playing isn’t always going to be completely accurate.

Didn’t they just remove spell queueing from arcane?

They removed it from Burden of Power, not from Nether Precision. Next patch it’s being removed from Nether Precision but there’s a new talent that effectively mimics it.
