Is there some critically urgent wow topic we are hindering by have this discussion here while you’re desperately trying to get a hold of the supervisor?
sir this is a wendy’s
Poop for the peasants instead of storytelling in my book.
Season 1 was absolute fire.
Season 2 feels a little more disjointed, but I also haven’t seen the last 2 episodes, sooo…
Visually the show is a powerhouse and extremely watchable for that reason alone. I think WoW in this style would be incredible (without all the neon colors and hard rock, of course)… IF they keep a few things in mind…
Namely, focus the story and don’t be afraid to tell that story only from one or two character viewpoints. The mistake with the Warcraft movie was too many protagonists and stories to tell in too short an amount of time.
Arcane has a pretty big cast, but I do feel they’re focusing mainly on Vi and Jayce and the people caught up in their orbit (Jinx, Caitlyn, Viktor etc).
People have pet battles to whine about. It’s very important rn. (right now)
Something on netflix?
Completely derailing into utter trash?
Well I never!
Shows really need more episodes per season. A chunk of pacing issues are due to just having to cram everything into 1 or 2 seasons.
Spin offs can still happen
Just play frost
They didn’t stick the landing with Season 2, and I wonder if partly… or mostly… because they are banking on tying up dangling threads with other shows. Though I will say for me, my lack of enjoyment at the later half of Season 2 has greatly diminished my excitement for following shows.
Yeah, one look at the imdb ratings tells me you have no clue what you’re talking about.
Did any character have any agency after episode 3 that wasn’t Caitlyn or Jinks? Everyone else was a plot point for those two. Vi was pointless/useless after episode 3, Mel got some of the worst of it, going from doing nothing to being in a box for most of the show until she needed to plot armor Caitlyn.
…does that rating include Season 1 as well as Season 2 or just Season 2?
as if they are planning/hoping for a S3
There’s no plans for a third season. There are several planned spinoffs though.
I haven’t watched the show. I’m just going off of the vibes from recent television. Especially animation.
Michael Moorcock’s is pretty neat.
I have watched the show and appraised it according to my own reasoning. If you want to tell me what you think after you have watched the show, I would be happy to listen.
I don’t care what imdb says unless their reviewers wana show up and talk about it here.
Shoulda been more focused on aftermath of last season and act 3 shoulda been its own season. Pacing was gigga fast
I still hate vi. Character is just annoying.
Silco was my man rip to him being dead
What?! You mean you don’t blindly follow bastions of entertainment review integrity like IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes? I suppose you also don’t put absolute trust in the virtuous unbiased game journalism of sites like Kotaku and friends?
