Depends on what people would class as “cool”
Stories with a multiverse default to being incapable of having meaningful tragedies or victories to me. So definitely wouldn’t class them as “cool” when it comes to narratives.
You do have a point.
While I agree the pacing for it felt rushed, the series alone is such a big win in other categories. For the most part, everything it does it does well.
Viktor and Jayce’s storyline should’ve never been put in. It took up too much screen time. The story was about the two sisters, and it should have stayed that way.
Ya… what happened with that story line anyways? It kinda petered out without anyone learning a lesson.
It is if it’s worth a damn. Season 1 was 10, Season 2 was…5? If I am being generous.
I was honestly super hyped and excited for Season 2 and the first 3 episodes had me really enjoying it, but it just went down so freaking hard with every episode after.
Off topic. Flagged for removal.
The techniques used to produce the League of Legends “ARCANE” series is amazing. Some of the story writing is phenomenal. Some of the story writing… isn’t.
Also, the topic makes sense to move to the “Off-Topic” forum. It doesn’t need to be removed/deleted altogether.
Thank you very much, Forum Fairy.
I liked half of episode 7 that was about Ekko. However there no reason he should have been motivated to leave where he was at that time.
This guy peaked as a hall monitor in gradeschool.
He probably shouldn’t have. Like I get why the show wanted us to feel like he needed to. But he really shouldn’t have. But that whole plot arc shouldn’t have been a single episode. Big issue was they introduced all these new plot threads in a season of 9 episodes that was already half over.
He had everything he ever wanted, everything was better, he had a family and new buds of a family and all he would be giving up was pink hair he didn’t even talk too ever again anyways. (There wasn’t even any closure for the most selfless character in the show)
I enjoyed it even if it wasn’t perfect. I loved the Ekko/Powder scene and have had that dang song on loop just to feel sad about them.
Also enjoying all the new Jayvik art on social media
Pretty much. I would’ve stayed. Just saying.
Him leaving just showed how noble he is. He doesn’t forsake the actual people he cares about and made bonds with. It’s in character for him to leave.
They made a show about Arcane Mage spec?
It’s still a solid 9/10 show and worth watching over a vast majority of content.
Unlike you who peaked in pre-school? Cry more child.
Yes.
