Arcane missile spellpower is over listed ount

With 100 spellpower I’m getting 125 extra on my missiles so I’m getting more than the listed number on items

This is actually big if true. That seems closer to Wrath spellpower coefficient than 1.12.

If that is what’s happening, I wonder if more abilities are using wrath numbers instead of classic numbers.

Circling back to this topic as I’m interested in making an arcane missiles spam build.

Has anyone tested this spell power coefficient since then? Is AM really scaling at 125% spell power? That could be huge.

Magic missiles!!!

Spell power coefficients are different for each spell usually based on cast time

There are and I don’t mention them because blizzard has broken other things and has yet to fix them. This is not unique to Mage, but also impacts a few other classes.

I want the Vanilla PVP out of combat timer back, the TBC one is not correct for the game and harms PVP.

There is also the matter of Seal of Command only getting 6 Proc’s per min when its suppose to be 7 Procs per min.

There is also the problem of Backstab crit not working for some players.

There are also incorrect Wrath of the Litch king animations being used on some spells and attacks.

Yes spell coefficients are diff for diff spells, but I don’t think AM has ever had above 100% spell power added? Unless I’m wrong, I don’t think any spell gets more than 100% of spell power.

Arcane missiles is 100% spell coefficient.

It gets 20% per missile and it casts 5 missiles

sigh :expressionless: there are so many unintentional changes now i don’t even think blizzard is keeping track of them all

Yea I think this is correct.

Can anyone test on a mage whether AM is getting 125% sp as OP mentioned?

I don’t have a mage on anniv otherwise I’d check myself

Won’t be able to test it till after work

into the darkness?

Thanks all.

PS, if u do test and see that it’s a higher coeff than 100%, put it in some kind of code language :smiley:
Don’t want Blizz to nerf it hahahahaha

I know there are a few things that are indeed over their intended budget, just haven’t disclosed it since they borked the animations and combat timer using the TBC / Wrath versions in place of the correct Vanilla version.

Do you have the empowered arcane missiles talent? Is that a thing,I might be miss remembering?

There’s no empowered arcane missiles, that’s later expansions.

Bump, was anyone able to test this? Really wanna try a pure arcane missiles mage!

I just logged onto my mage on the ptr, used arcane missiles with and without azuresong mage blade with 30 spell damage enchant.

W.o = 277 a tick
With = 294 a tick

Meaning 70 spell damage added 85 damage to my missile.

So yes it appears I can confirm
