This is in regards of arcane magic and aesthetics wich I am interesed… I would like to read your opinion about which one is/has:
- Better spell animations and aesthetics?
- More fun rotation?
- Better mogs?
- Better at pvp?
- Better at pve?

- i think druid i never liked mage mogs it goes nice on certain races but others not so much like for me troll it can be hard to mog

rn Balance > arcane problem is if you maybe look longevity wise overall Mage > Druid especially if specifically just looking at ranged DPS. if you don’t factor in resto/guardian/feral spec for the druid since of course only balance is ranged dps.
either way though i’d personally just play whatever class/spec interests you the most. i literally just tried to level a balance druid the rotation felt extremely weird af to the point it was a major turn off for me despite i got it to level 16 only. i already have a druid at 46 i think even then the balance rotation feels weird imo.
i like druid class lore but yea the eclipse system was one reason i didn’t like balance. not sure why they brought it back in SL but i tried to give it a chance at least so i could make up my own mind. i like resto but playing just resto isn’t very fun i’ve been doing that lately and it’s hell questing.

I say go mage. Esp if u like casters. You can do lore “ wizard” things. Magic barriers , portals, conjuring food. Etc. runes. Balance druid has nice arcane spells but ultimately then u realize ur a fat chicken or a blue smurf forever. And you lose the will to care about ur teansmog then.

If you get good at Arcane mage it’s S-tier DPS and extremely fun to play. Looks great as well. Nothing is more fun than mage in WoW IMO + the convenience of portals and food.

In my opinion:
Both have great spell aesthetics and animations.

Balance Druid’s mogs are pretty much hidden by astral form and, in the wider picture, cloth has it all over leather.
No idea.

For solo content, Balance Druid is definitely better unless you enjoy a lot of snack breaks

Before this Xpac, Boomkin have been one of the statistically least played specs of all.
They just got really popular when people discovered they are powerful this Xpac.

I’m curious as to why people think Arcane mage has better animations and aesthetics. Blast has no projectile animation at all and Arcane’s Prismatic Barrier looks terrible as well. At least Druid can get custom skins for its shapeshifts and get the Astral form glyph too.

Well…Boomkin and tmogs. They are all down in Z tier…all by themself. For obvious reasons.

I love kyrain arcane the burst is massive. Plus you become a 45 second burst spec instead of 3 minute nuke. Will say though a tank can completely kill your dmg if he moves the mobs to much, and you have to know proper times to get your single target burst out since you will only have about a 7 second window for you to do your combo if you are kyrain.

I’d say arcane if it still worked like Legion. But for some reason, some intern decided to reinvent a perfect spec in BFA.
