Would arcane be a fun class to make for 2s or would it be frustrating?
Frustrating.
Arcane isn’t played like any other spec in the game, its PVE DPS relies heavily on arcane blast spam, which you can’t do in PVP. You’re spellstealing a lot and baiting cses to spam out missiles that do small damage while winding up to POSSIBLY one shot with arcanosphere/barrage combo.

That’s disappointing 
Arcane is a bit more difficult to run, but arcane / rdruid is really fun and strong as far as mage comps go in 2v2. You have decent sustained damage and can do decent burst with arcane harmony. Been around 2600 + this season in 2s as arcane / rdruid.

Any specific comps in 3s you run or can run?
I’ve faced numbing in 2s he owns. The haymaker poly combo is gross af

IMO - arcane / WW / Rdruid is the best arcane comp to play (im around 3100 CR playing it this season). But other comps include: arcane godcomp, arcane/feral, arcane / warrior, can do demo/arcane, etc. You can do arcane RMP with sin rogue but its just much weaker compared to the fire version for how RMP needs to win in this meta.
