Just got out of a Blitz where an arcane mage easily got wreaking ball (20-0) and almost 500 million damage. This wasn’t a close game either, so it was shorter than many games. This was 2.4k MMR season 2 so the other people weren’t slouches.
I hope Blizzard does some serious balancing in the next week or two, because the only strategy against a skilled arcane mage is hope they’re going to carry your team instead of the enemy’s.
Arcane is the worst mage spec right now… but yes, they do damage if you let them like every other dps.

Nah, hun, I have 2 mages I actively played last season and have one at 669 already. I’ve played all three specs the last few hours testing them and someone who just comes into a thread and says “no this is the worst” without any kind of explanation deserves nobodies attention.

How geared was it? DId it have a bumnch of WPVP gear?
