PSA for rogues: You should open boxes for your groups.
PSA for rogues. Arcane intellect costs as much as 5 frost bolts, which is about 1/3rd our total mana bar. The healer gets it for sure, but the rest of you?
Gattaca up in here.
right because a mages water supply is extremely limited
Time is money friend.
Not sure how it pertains to rogues, but that’s what your evocation and water is for. My mage has no problem buffing groups.
But then they are not smarter than everyone else
No? MY evocation is not for me to buff random rogues asking for int for no reason.
I’m talking about buffing groups, not some random rogue. Rogues don’t even care about intellect. Stop sending rubbish to me.
Then you are posting in the wrong thread. Good luck finding whoever you actually meant to reply to.
another one was in 50+ levels I had never seen a mage cast amplify magic until I see it popup one run, I ask “do all mages have this” and response “yes but most of them don’t know how to play their class”
You responded to me first with your irrelevant rubbish. Hopefully next time you’ll stay on topic.
it costs about 600 mana though (level 37 at least)
Edit: making waters while leveling is also mana intensive. Drinking also takes time. Mages are not free water and food machines. These mechanics are designed for the mage and only the mage and the healer in groups
It costs quite a lot, especially Brilliance.
Uh… no? Are you drunk?
You replied to me first buddy.
Casting amplify magic or dampen magic is not all the time worth it because you come up to varying mobs. And then you have to constantly change it, or tell the person you put it on to take it off. Most group members won’t know what you’re doing to them, and proceed to get annoyed.
I’ll use them when I need to with my wife or someone I’m talking to that I can explain what’s going on.
PSA for mages: if it had stamina on it, its for warlocks
I’ll second the other poster’s response. Amp magic should really only be used with good communication, you can cause just as much harm as good.
I have a built in advantage. I see a mage, I cast Fortitude. Doesn’t usually take more than 2 mages to get AI back.
That said, I’ve seen prople do things like asking in Menethil if they can get some food from a mage before going to fight the murlocs ip the coast. That warrior was so polite I asked him if he wanted to blow up murlocs together for a bit, and fun was had by all.
If you’re hanging out in the inn or in town before heading out to quest or grind and you see a mage, just ask friendly-like. Something like /w Could I please get an AI buff on my way to fight? Some will ignore you, some will be jerks in how they say no. But some will totally hook you up, and you can be off your merry way after a thank you.
