Does anyone know where in the mage order hall the volatile sheep spawns? Also do I have to have the arcane staff equipped when I poly things to get the appearance unlocked?
I’d equip the staff just to be safe - It’s level 110 content so you’ll be fine using the actual staff.
Cote will pop up in a dialogue box and say something like “Success!” to let you know the sheep spawned, and it should spawn next to the Dalaran portal in the class hall.

It should spawn near the entrance and you don’t need to have the staff equiped. You don’t even need to be specced into arcane.
