Is so terrible. He’s 30 something years old and we are under siege from the Void and all he can do is whine about his parents? Speaking of, Turaylon sure isn’t written like he was one of the Sons of Lothar…
Disappointing.

i expect him to be really annoying and awful to have to be around ![]()
Lol, the game’s story direction has gone downhill. It feels more like a handful of writers’ personal fantasy than anything rooted in Warcraft. Modern expansions are so far removed from the original tone that it barely feels like the same game anymore.
Every recent antagonist is written as morally gray, always framed from the angle of “they think they’re the good guys, just doing it in a bad way.” That might work once in a while, but now it’s the only note Blizzard hits. Compare that to Gul’dan sure, he could be called “lazy” in design, but at least his motivations were clear. He wanted power, he would betray anyone to get it, and he wasn’t pretending otherwise. You always knew where you stood with him.
Meanwhile, Xalatath just doesn’t work as a multi expansion villain. Her power level is all over the place: sometimes she seems able to destroy anyone she encounters, other times she conveniently can’t, and then suddenly she can again. Every time she shows up, she could easily wipe out the cast, but instead it’s always the same tired line: “Hehe, I got what I wanted, champion, now I vanish!”
She pops in and out of the story at will, without explanation or consistency, doing whatever the plot demands. That’s not compelling, it’s lazy. Instead of an antagonist with clear goals and limits, she’s written like a god-tier troll inserted to toy with the protagonists.
get woke, go broke. Blizz still hasn’t caught on that we’re in the anti-woke era and they’re carrying on like its 2016…
So does 30-something in elf years mean he’s still technically a teenager?
So his writing is going to be as bad as his redesign? Expected nothing less. ![]()
The moment I saw his new look I knew it was going to be bad. I mean, after I got done laughing till I cried. ![]()
