I know his dad doesn’t have a surname, but let’s not burden him with that one. Or us with another Windrunner. Let’s just call him Arator Hemingway or something.

Not once Arator ever found romance.
He’s 40 he better do the hustle if he wants kids.
I don’t think using a different surname is going to free him from the burden of his mother’s family legacy.

My biggest issue with Arator is his “see the good in everyone” character trait.
Which I know will disappear the moment we have to kill 10 random NPCs in Eversong together. See the good in genocidal death cult auntie yes! But fel addicts and bandits? Immediate execution.

To be fair, he is a half elf. So 40 might be like… 20, in maturity.
Isn’t it super weird for a human to not have a surname? I know he spent a lot of time hanging around the draenei, and they typically don’t have surnames but surely he had one at one point.

There’s been others with no surname. They kind of pick one up along the way. Rhonin didn’t have one. But was often called Rhonin Redhair, on account of gis red hair. Uther didn’t have one, although his title “the Lightbringer” seemed to sometimes be used; Uther Lightbringer. But yeah, still nothing for Turalyon.
I think in the case of Uther and Turalyon it’s because they come from the early games, where it wasn’t about creating full fledged, developed characters. The name just meant “this special unit here”.
Maybe Turalyon could do like Uther. He’s the only lightforged human. Turalyon the Lightforged, or just Turalyon Lightforged.

He spent the last 20 years serving in wars under Trollbane and the Silver Hand.
So a 0% chance of getting any action. Bed action.
If theres a bar anywhere near a battlefield, or we could just bring up the barracks bunnys as they don’t have sex restrictions to the armys on azeroth.

I think you’re comparing it too much to how a modern army functions.
The older ones were way worse on that front.
His design is just terrible. Who did that to his hair? And the head tats of purple and gold? Kinda spot on.
Given he’s already declared himself a Windrunner, it might be a little late to change his last name!
