i don’t see what this has to do with rated battle grounds nor what rated battle grounds have to do with this thread stop trolling

That was just a comparison about PvPers like you and those who want rated BGs.

pvpers like me?

Those complaining about what others are doing in a random setting, which is why rated BGs were made queue-less for pvpers…like…you… to begin with.

i have no interest in rated bgs though so that’s pretty moot. srry bruh.

In BGs the only winners are the ones at the top of the score board. That’s why KB’s and stats are tracked.

The Alliance or Horde are just there but what matters is if you win.

While that metric may be important to many I always prefer a team win as it means a completed daily quest and more honor gains…

So, what you’re saying is, “you’re new to bgs”? Its ok people gotta start somewhere.

It’s really why most people Que for BGs. To own it up with powerful gear.

Well the daily quest is just 1 BG of many. With that said you get more honor by solo killing and farming players. There have been many of zergs or fast team loses where I get more honor than the other team that won. Just because I PvPed and lead in KBs.

At the end of the day it’s a gear based game and your solo performance is why you log in. You want to YEET and make highlight montages of domination. Rather have a team loss with 40 KBs because that means I won. People will remember you that BG.

Horde vs Alliance is just a formality. No one remembers or cares about that team fight, they all remember the Elite Players owning it up. That’s how legends are born.

mine? LM? They are not so diffrent

They are tactically different.

As for this thread. To say GM is bad is silly at best. Just because BS/LM are great. LM you can drop down to BS. BS you can drop down to GM. LM/BS are strong control points and good for scouting, calling incs and defense.

However all this goes out the window when you give up GM and lose either BS/LM. Furthermore if you quick cap GM you can have back support for BS or try to ninja ST/Farm if they sent everything to LM/BS.

Taking GM quickly gives you 2 bases lead while the fight over BS/LM is going on. Many of games seen the opposing team also lose LM. Then because of this lose BS or they let ST/Farm go. Now it’s 4 bases to 1.

You want to score first and often. Good teams do that. You go up and never lose your lead cause you got bases. It’s always better to take a base then rush into a tough heavily contested one. You are getting points and preventing points. That’s how you win.

People trying to complicate this when in fact it’s simple and that’s why they lose.

Yea it figures they are friends

The best node is not blacksmith. The best node is the one you can take from the other team, and that changes throughout the match.

I tell my team to not go mine because i can just parachute cloak + tbc rocket boots off the little hill on the left after the alliance gates open and basically fly down there. Usually is a free cap or horde waste sending 3-4 people.

Phobo is 100% correct on his entire post. Wild lol.

And to no one’s surprise somehow Wafectus has the worst take on the entire thread. Its a great day everyone.

Dont you love battlegrounds, Wafectus? How are you so hysterically wrong on something you’ve done a billion times? You haven’t learned that mine is the weakest node? I mean just analyzing a 2D map of AB would tell you that at first glance, shouldn’t even need to play it before understanding that mine has the least advantages and the largest downside lol.

You continue to amaze me :joy:
