Not all arathi are half elf. Every time I see a post about the arathi everyone calls them half elf.
The arathi and the elf’s that are part of there culture are so inter mingled now that they are just arathi not half human or half elf etc.
There are very few of the arathi that are even close to being a half or pure blood of any race.
You learn all this in hallowfall if you do all the lore bits which I know most don’t lol.

But when will we get half dwarf half elves?
I had such high hopes for the Arathi.
I thought they’d be more fanatical and dangerous. Instead they just ended up being friendly and non-threatening.
Such a letdown…
WoW players have a genuine problem understanding that a race or faction can be anything other than clone copies of each other.
Because it’s an easy, succinct way to describe their heritage. It’s not literal.
But even then it doesn’t make any sense. They’re composed of one small part of elves and the vast majority the founding state of humans. You might as well say that the Alliance is “half mechagnome”.
Remember → There’s the Empire from beyond the seas.
Hopefully it’s just done better than the whole Stormsong Saga in BFA, lol
It’d be better for them to show a schism in the kingdom — or better yet have Stormwind fall and for the Arathi Empire take the helm of leadership for the Alliance & shake things up a little 
They’d likely want to succeed @ writing far more than they did for that awful narrative in the Arathi Highlands 
Otherwise it’s not going to go so well for them …
Would they be shorter because they are half dwarf, or taller because they are half elf?

I’d like to introduce to you the dungeon “Priory of the Sacred Flame”.
They’re still biologically half elves. So yes, they’re half elves.
I feel like there is some thing being misunderstood here, Possibly on my part but I feel this needs said any ways. The Half Elves are not all Arathi as Arathi is a culture not a race as saying Half Elves are just Arathi would be like saying undead are just Forsaken, Forsaken is a culture formed of a specific grouping of undead not the undead race as a whole just as Arathi are formed of a specific grouping of various mixtures of Elven and human bloodlines.
I’m not sure if I’m using the word culture correctly in this or if some other word is more proper for using there, but hopefully that gets the point across.
You don’t know them all and I can tell you this. Arathi women are floozies I’m sure there are plenty of half arathi blends out there. I know an undead guy with pointy ears. So yea gross
No biologically they have elf and human ancestry but most of them do not have a pure human parent and a pure elf parent.
That’s irrelevant. Half elves doesn’t mean literally 50% elf 50% human, it’s just a moniker to refer to human + elf offspring and the offspring of their offspring and so on
Once upon a time, sure. They’d be half-elves. At this point though, there isn’t a clear or even an implied line outside of “vaguely looking aesthetics.” Which isn’t how these things are determined.
There’s a reason why when asked whether they are humans or elves they answer “We are Arathi.” Because… that’s who and what they are. They aren’t like Arathor or any of Vereesa’s kids, Giramar or Galadin.
They are Arathi, not half-elves.
I was gonna say, the people of Arator are not Elven at all. They are simply humans with pointed ears. It’s a genetic thing based on the region. There may have been some elves originally associated with the Arathi in the eastern kingdoms, but when we’re talking about the actual original Arathi, there is no Elven mix. They are 100% human with pointy ears.
