All that is missing in the thread from the anti-toggle folks are the posts on healing stones and crystals cause their Aunt Kim (with a Y) uses them and swears by them cause they don’t leave chem-trails.

as an aside, I can’t stress how important accessibility is to software. I sometimes use avid software for things (it’s like Adobe if it helps the comparison) and boy, let me tell you how awful it is.
Their attention and commitment to accessibility features is anemic at best. Consider me completely able-bodied, but things like text readability is actually difficult.

Do I think this is dumb since it’s a video game and not real? Yes. Do I care they added this? No, not really, other than it was a little wasted time. There’s bigger issues here than spider to crab.

Your words heavily imply your standing belief that the toggle was a waste of “20+ hours dev time” done by a lone developer who apparently should have been giving input on the stuff you listed. I don’t know what other “successful MMO” you work on but your company seems to have an awful culture and can’t properly task manage if one guy’s input throws all sorts of development out of wack.

Tbh I’ve had that happen to me with some shows where I just can’t understand what the VA is saying at all. I’m like ??? I can understand English just fine, but in some cases it’s like my ears can’t pick up on it?
Honestly so glad subtitles is like a default option and there’s so many localization options

No where in that post did I say we were prevented content. If you are going to point fingers, at least have the decency to read the post properly.
