Arachnaphobia mode s3 tww question

Hi there. During season one, my BIS trinket from Arakara spawned spider eggsacs that would burst and crawl all over me. I am wondering, as I play in ‘Arachnaphobia (crustacian) mode’, will I have to just avoid a BIS item next season, or will the graphic fix be implemented if reasonable within the limits of our gracious game designers?

TDLR i want to play at my best, without having to stare at baby spiders crawling over me for another season.

**I am open to main swapping a class/spec that its not bis, so its not a game breaker for me, just a thought.

That seems like an oversight. I am myself dont use the feature, but it should be workable for things like that.

Make a post in the Bug Report forum. Chances are it was a missed change with the setting.

Honestly agreed with this suggestion.

It kinda didn’t make sense to go so far and forget the best in slot trinket effect being one of the creepiest things (I dislike it and I don’t even have arachnophobia).

If they do this I am 100% turning this mode on because I don’t like egg sacs growing all over me.

I played in arachnophobia mode in season one and used the ara Kara sacbrood.

I do remember seeing the eggs spawn on my shoulders but never seeing any spiders hatch from them.

They didn’t look like spider eggs, either. They looked like normal eggs.

Did you play with arachnophobia mode on during season one?

Their not real spiders, you know that right?

yea on my Ret. max graphic settings hehe. i could prob lower spell effects, similar to lowering a ‘ground clutter’ setting.

I turned on that arachnophobia setting the moment I logged in back then. I think it was the first thing I did.

Yeah you might want to try something like that. Maybe lowering settings will help you

Maybe post this on the PTR forum, see if a developer will notice it there.

There are so many threads here in general discussion, you are unlikely for a developer to see.

But yes, this seems like a rather large issue - if arachnophobia mode doesn’t remove the spider effects from a trinket, that is not good and should be changed.
