How are you supposed to run this dungeon and kill the last boss with randoms lmao. Who tuned this
Take a few seconds to type “stand in the black crap during the suck-in” before you pull?
I did it in +2’s fine.
its not even that its the healers that are the issue 9/10 lol
During the first week of m0, the amount of people that knew enough to stand in the goo but stood in it directly beside the boss was an… I don’t even know how to describe the sensation.
But some people are learning I guess, did it on +2 today and other than a messy trash pull once, everything was smooth.
Don’t get pulled , get drenched in blue goo
hit the guys carrying the purple.
stand in the purple when she sucks.
point green away from folks.
dodge green.
dodge swurls.
now what i hate about it is the swurls that happen directly after suck. that is monstruous
Honestly, the suck is half group, half tank responsibility. The tank needs to have the awareness of where pools are and move the boss away from them. The group needs to have the presence of mind to actually use the pools.
As a Blood DK, I’ve yet to hit a key level where I can’t just AMS cheese the mechanic. Not to mention just popping Death’s Advance and stepping a few feet away and becoming immune to the suck entirely.
I would say the first trick is to not invite 3 melee dps.
Remember to always blame the tank for not placing the boss where you wanted

What are the healers struggling with?
Do mechanics or you die.
That’s about it.
It’s one of the easiest dungeons with current tunning…
That boss is mostly mechanical, the damage is not too high… Do the mechanics so you don’t get 1-shot by the suck-in or eating a poison wave.
Aside from that try not to outrange your healer or if you have to (like to get into a puddle or something) then you might want to use a defensive or a healthpot.
I mean, in my experience, you usually only have one by the end of the fight if it goes down at all.
:^)
People panicking is the biggest problem. Mechanically, it’s easy:
- Everybody use a GCD to pop some adds and make puddles.
- Ranged and healer stake out a puddle each and step into it when the vacuum starts. Melee does the same with puddles closer to the boss, but not within the vacuum range.
- Once the vacuum ends, use a CC or interrupt on the add rooting you to escape.
- When the poison DoT goes out, spread loosely. Dispel yourself if you can, but do it in a safe spot that gives your party mates time to dodge the poison blobs.
- Dodge web swirlies on the ground.
Where people usually mess up is the self root > vacuum > web swirly combo. Don’t bother trying to kill the rooting slime. CC/interrupt to get out immediately and run to dodge the webs.
I got to the black and get rooted. The problem is I can’t get out of the cc. I’m a warlock and have no cc dispels. The healers don’t dispel me and I die.
fear it. theroretically it should work
You can use mortal coil, fear and your pet interrupt/stun.
if it’s the root and if you’re a paladin
and complaining then lol. use bof mate
