Aquatic/Flying Mounts - Reduced Underwater Speed with Skyriding Enabled

Mounts tagged as both Aquatic and Flying (e.g., Shimmering Aurelid) exhibit lower-than-intended underwater speed when Skyriding is enabled. However, when Steady Flight is enabled, they correctly achieve their fast underwater speed.

Expected Behavior:
Mounts tagged as both Aquatic and Flying should maintain their fast underwater speed regardless of whether Skyriding or Steady Flight is enabled.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Equip a mount tagged as both Aquatic and Flying.
  2. Enable Skyriding.
  3. Enter water and observe the mount’s underwater speed (reduced to normal swimming speed).
  4. Switch to Steady Flight.
  5. Re-enter water and observe the mount’s underwater speed (fast, as intended).

Additional Notes:

  • This issue only occurs with mounts that have both Aquatic and Flying tags.
  • The bug is tied specifically to Skyriding mode reducing underwater speed unexpectedly.

Having the same issue. It’s been this way for a while and still hasn’t be resolved yet. I tested the mounts I have unlocked that are flagged as Aquatic and confirmed that switching to steady flying style made them move at the correct 135% speed underwater.

Affected mounts that I own and tested:

  • Underlight Corrupted Behemoth
  • Cryptic Aurelid
  • Deepstar Aurelid
  • Depthstalker
  • Kah, Legend of the Deep
  • Wonderous Wavewhisker

Other mounts flagged as Aquatic are working correctly though where they have increase movement speed underwater with steady or skyriding enabled.
