Whenever you are in seal or whale form and you attack you transform into a humanoid form. . Can you stay in aquatic form when you attack. You can have aquatic type attacks like when you are in bear form and have bear attacks.

Giant squid form would be awesome. Grab enemy players with my tentacles, pull them in, digest them, and spit out a wad of bones.

Yes, yes! This must be implemented in time for the Queen Azshara raid.
I can still attack as an orca, but the damage is underwhelming considering we’re taking about the seas’ apex predator here.

I just found out yesterday that it is possible to stay in aquatic form while attacking. For whatever reason using the essence Breath of the Dying will cast while in underwater form. You cannot cast it while in stag or flight travel form, just underwater.

Breath of the dying? It’s an instant cast spell. If you have rank 3 of the essence it will only have a 5 second cool down. Other ranks range between 15-45 seconds depending on the health of the target when used.
I was doing old world content and cast it fully expecting to be taken out of underwater form but nope. Worked just like normal. Made my few underwater quests much simpler that’s for sure.
still would be nice to have an atack water mount like a panther
