I’m looking for a good aquarium tutorial that shows how to make a standalone aquarium. I’d like to put the aquarium in the middle of the room. Thanks in advance.
I’m not finding very much for the center of a room type aquarium. Do you need to be able to see through it? How big can it be?
I used a Cartel Collector’s Cage turned on its side and placed on a table to make an aquarium. I have also seen people use the new display case from Decor Duels to build aquariums.
I like the Runetotem’s Bounty garden cluster for plants, but any of the vendor plants could work. I have murloc plushies in mine but I have seen people use shrunk down crystals and the red quill that moves around as "fish.’
Please don’t kill the messenger.
There is a koi pond with a koi on the cash shop.
I think it’s hilarious that it has a single koi by the way.
Same what a lonely fish.
Maybe later you can buy more for a dime each
What if you bought two koi ponds and carefully superimposed one onto the other? Would it look like a koi pond with two fish or would the fish synchronize and still look like one fish?
If you spun it maybe but the back is kind of
High on it
Blank canvas in an octogon for the center, transparent blue drapes close to but not against the canvas. Take circular rug you can dye to a sandy color to be the floor 200%, moss mound is a great topper on the rug shrink them and spread, leave space to see the sandy rug. For fish angled chairs sideways where you can see the backside, black topper potion the corkside for fish eyes. And of course square windows flipped and same octagon shape for the outside.
Here’s the one I did. Freywold Table, Cartel Collector’s Cage, 2x Runetotem’s Bounty garden clusters, murloc hut, murloc plushie. I picked the Freywold Table because I had one, but any big chonky table will work. The Cartel Collector’s Cage has swirly effects and bubbles which help with the illusion of being water-filled.
I have the koi pond and have it set up as part of a small stream with a fountain pouring into it. The bottom of the koi pond is transparent, allowing what’s underneath to show through. That could potentially cause issues in how you use it. Lonely little fish by itself too.
Here is a nice tutorial on how to build an aquarium. He discusses the items he used and where to get them…
