AQ Patterns on Real Vendor

I think it would be a good idea at this point to put the AQ 40 pattern avabaile for purchase on the Real vendor. Bad RNG on top of other factors make this a pain.

I would go as far as to add MC patterns and other such as well.

It’s a good idea but there are no room for good ideas or suggestions/community feedback or it would of been done 2 phases ago.

Not even medication can make this make sense

Well given the forums are usually filled with the usual “feedback” its kinda like shooting into the dark with decent feedback.

Even so it would be a good idea. People hate running AQ anyways so it would be good to see the patterns show up. Id go as far as even adding Obsidian shards to the vendor as well potentially.

Reals exist for two reasons.

  • To motivate people, including you OP, to engage with content including older content.
  • To patch gaps in itemization that puts undue pressure on specific specs to complete content considered older, so that a broad spectrum of players engage with content rather than only specific specs.

I don’t see how adding recipes to reals vendor accomplishes either of those. In fact, I would go as far as to say adding the AQ40 recipes would discourage you from doing AQ40, which is still current content.

These come from reals boxes already.

Well a good amount of people dont like running AQ40 anyways. Maybe wait til its no longer current and then add reals to AQ and bonus reals from HM chests.

Keep grinding for that one pattern until end of phase before TBC very sane logic

You don’t need the pattern. You can just buy from someone who has it and can make it for you.

There’s three tiers of “needs” - actual needs, desirables, and nice-to-haves (AKA not needed at all). Actual needs are things like tier bonuses that make your class/spec work in end-game. Desirables are things like your BIS gear. Nice-to-haves are things that put gold in your pocket, like recipes. You don’t need recipes, at all.

Sounds good let’s give them the 200g fee their charging which only enables further gatekeeping and incompetence by the Devs

this guy has been crying to add more gear to the real vendor btw

      bro you have been crying about bwl trinkets forever now and you say THIS!!?!?!?!

No I haven’t. I’ve been “crying” about adding the remaining tier pieces. T2 for Ret Pallies tangibly alters your rotation, not having it is like playing without certain runes… and there’s a reason why all runes were added to the rune broker.

Blizzard THOUGHT he fixed the issue by adding t2 to the vendor, except they didn’t think it through at all because the pieces they give you overlap with the undead slaying gear you are required to wear when starting out in Naxx.

You are completely, completely, completely demented if you think “I would like to make money by doing nothing except having a recipe”/“I don’t like that someone else is making money that I can’t make” is the same as “I would like to be able to execute the core rotation of the character I am playing”.

Side-note: I went and got my missing tier pieces by the way. I still think it’s bad design, but I went and did it. If you want AQ patterns, you can go do AQ and get them.

uhhhhh muh ret pally its different for MEEEEEEE lmao dude you’re a complete joke. you’re just as pathetic as every other real begging thread that you think is a bad idea but yours is good only because it impacted you. LOOK IN THE MIRROR.

It literally is.

That’s kind of just how it works, but I am literally right and other people are wrong. That’s how the cookie crumbles. Some people are built diff.

bro you have the mind of a 5 year old. You’re always completely wrong too. Just like how you had no idea that people farmed necrotic runes for sharpening stones.

Something something bell curve something something horse shoe.

However you want to frame it, the truth is it is what it is. I don’t even know why you are replying to me at this point, I know I’m right, and you likely know I’m right too but are fighting it for whatever reason, just give it up, lol.

  1. The point to have most of those patterns is to make gold
  2. The more competion is, the less gold you make
  3. If you add all those patterns to real vendor, then almost everone will have them
  4. So you can’t make gold, and what’s point of having those patterns then

You dont need to have all of those patterns. It’s not some unique thing or some bis piece of gear, it’s just a pattern that allows you to make thing that can be bought on AH

Yep seasonal server and guilds farming the new repair bot from AQ all the way through to Scarlet Crusade is very sane and reasonable thinking
