AQ gates turn ins (imbalanced servers)

So not sure if there is a thread or not and I know the gate openings are kinda far off, but there are a lot of people leaving my server (stalagg) and i would imagine many others for better balanced ones because they are afraid they gate turn ins are not going to happen since there are no alliance (like on my server) or no horde like on others. I was just wondering if the Devs can give us some clarification on what they plan to do on these imbalanced server. Will the gate turn ins be server wide so they can still be opened in a timely manner? Do the devs have any plans so we can stop losing players and making server even worse than they are now.

I understand you guys like to keep things under wraps but servers are just going to continue to get worse if you dont let us know whats going on for gate event.

Thanks for any info you could possibly give.

You should probably make the assumption that the most memorable server wide event in the history of the game will not be subject to changes. If there will be any change, it will likely not be contemplated until after they see what happens with no change (like BG queues).

Roll the opposite faction on your server. Start feeding him mats through the neutral AH and encourage your guildies to do the same.

they are already changing things read a post a while back saying turn ins are going to be much higher and it will be new item turn ins so you cant stockpile everything. so they are already changing things

sorry i missread the post and it wasnt a blue post think the only thing true is they said the amount would be more since 10,000’s more playing than in classic
but havent confirmed weather or not items would be changing.

If I remember correctly, the gates will eventually open on all servers regardless of turn ins. I am sure Blizzard will speed this up in Classic. I’d imagine once a few servers get the gates open on their own, all realms will have the gates opened automatically.

yeah but back in the day it was like a month after the gong i heard…that will kill any server. If they dont fix imbalance for turn ins people will just leave the server for the mega servers so they can raid if they can get past the que.

Server balance means nothing, stop worrying about it.

Or maybe it will be “Cross Realm Turn Ins” meaning turn ins on one server counts towards all…LOL!

when we are losing 100’s of players and that being a big reason why im gunna worry i dont want my server to die b/c people arent getting answers about one of the biggest events in classic.

cross realm would be bad since people coordinate for scarab lord title but server wide i think would be the easiest change and best way to do it. IMO people need to stop crying about #nochanges when its helping 1,000’s of people or more and its not breaking the game in any way. its just fixing the imbalance problem which wasnt this bad in vanilla.

They aren’t changing anything with the AQ turn-ins.

Maybe get all the Horde together and let them know the Alliance players left on Stalagg are off limits and turn Silithus into a PVE zone?

Bro, wake up. Your server is already dead.

As the Full Pop PvP server we used to be, we are finished. It is 99.9% Horde : Alliance tilted. At best we are a mid pop PvE server now.

Just this last week 2 more guilds including Washed Up moved to Incendius. Hold outs like RTK and B U S T I N are now only here to take advantage of the World Boss vacuum in Washed Up’s absence.

Once the new content rolls out, they’ll be gone too.

There is literally no scenario where this server isn’t finished, short of Blizzard merging us with Heartseeker within the month. Any longer than that and people will naturally have sought out their own solutions.

If you plan on playing with your boys in Toxic for the duration of Classic, I assure you—there is a transfer in your near future.

If it’s not blue it doesn’t matter. Blizzard said they weren’t changing AQ event.

With the zugs here? I’m not even worth honour- but if a Horde spots me they’ll chase me half a zone if they have to, I still regularly get stomped by groups of 60s since even with 20 Alliance left on the server Horde here are too afraid to go around in the world on their own.

Hilarious- after listening to you guys brag about the hundred or so Alliance on Stalagg having to pay to leave the server- now thousands of Horde are forking over cash to do so.

It’s amazing how we’ve been telling you guys this for months, and it’s finally sinking in now.

How would it fix the imbalance problem? Any solution to open the gates without the Alliance doesn’t fix a problem, it ignores it. This is what we call a natural consequence- in this case, Horde wanted a pve server with no Alliance, Horde got what they wanted- now you get a consequence that literally everyone knew was coming because this isn’t a new game.

See, this is the sort of thing you should have been thinking about week one when 100 Horde were flag jumping Alliance 24/7 in Scarlet Monastery, or when you were roving SG and BS with a dozen full raids stomping 5 mans making the half hour corpse run to BRD for weeks. When literally all open world content ceased to exist for Alliance, and even instanced content would take up to an hour to access simply because of a colossal numbers imbalance.

Your faction decided this was the path you wanted to take- you were told quite clearly the result- and you got the result you were told. There’s absolutely nothing for Horde to complain about since you brought this upon yourselves.

nah horde didnt want a PVE server with no alliance…washed up and their helpers wanted that. I guess just have to wait and see if they merge servers or what they will do. Wish the devs for this game where like other games and actually answered serious questions on their forums. Activision has really killed this company sadly :frowning:

Every time you post, you sound super bitter about being on Stalagg, and it really begs the question why?

I feel like you would be happier elsewhere little guy.

That said, I strongly doubt you still actually play on Stalagg, and just enjoy being bitter and spouting anti-horde rhetoric on the forums, since you’ve been level 42 on that Rogue for literal months.

As for myself, I’m not mad at all that Stalagg is dying. It had a great run, it had potential, and now it’s over. Horde has won the battle for Stalagg. Now off we go to consume some other server.

Cheers mate.

Activision has nothing to do with Blizzard failing to communicate. For all the times I’ve been called a Blizzard White Knight/Shill, I seem to be one of the only ones who doesn’t blame Activision for all of Blizzard’s failings.

Also (I dont play alliance so not 100%) but from what I heard a good amount of alliance left the server because of Grizzly not just horde.
