Would you guys please fix the Edgemaster’s Handguards problem with the AQ patch.
After reading this, big streamers, guilds that dominate the realm, multi-boxers, people who use bots, especially big streamers, have already won.
They can just occupy Silithus and have an monopoly on it preventing anyone else from getting in, or at least have a really hard time doing so.
It’s like playing the Monopoly board game, landing on community chest/chance with every dice roll and hoping to not get the go to jail card, oh and it reads:
Get out of Silithus:
No gong for you, but here is a free port to a place you do not want to be.
And? Last I checked they don’t have any rules against it. I couldn’t care less what goals the Devs have or had in mind when the game can and does change on the fly.
My point remains true: it is not a hard and fast rule.
this basically means not all players will get to participate in teh opening experience, Good Game
Actually it is a hard rule set of World of Warcraft. Loading screens break immersion and world building. And go against the very fundamental rule set they built this game on.
But i’m not going to argue with a troglodyte who doesn’t posses the very basic understanding and history of how this game came to be.
I’m done here.
Except there are and have been loading screens built into WoW from day one. They might be less prevalent than they were in EQ but they are there.
It clearly isn’t, unless you can point to some EULA clause that says as much…
None of this emotional nonsense has any sort of bearing on anything.
Did you ever start?
hilarious, ashes of creation dev says that they will have 250v250 pvp battles. Meanwhile multibillion company here can’t handle a 15 year old game.
It’s after the gong is run. Some of you people are so incompetent you can’t even read.
Bro people are only leveling via dungeon boosts now. This isn’t to original WoW and never was.
He even said they’re hoping to pull off 500v500, but can’t make any guarantees about that. Of course he can say whatever and it doesn’t really mean a thing until they actually pull it off.
As far as WoW goes…like I said before this is something Blizzard avoided addressing for years. Instead they just sharded and layered, and did whatever they had to instead of trying to accommodate a larger playerbase. It’s not that they can’t do it, it’s that they took the Modern WoW in another direction: avoid the issue entirely. They’re not going to create new server architecture and design new tech just for Classic, so…we get this.
So what’s the other option? Not let anyone play because the server crashes?
Honest question: why?
My lord you guys are a pack of ungrateful whiny children.
…nothing of importance.
We don’t even know the numbers of how the Silithus stress test went or how big the limitation will be.
Also, anyone can say anything without knowing the technical limitations. Any game could support more characters by reducing the range of attacks because that means there are fewer characters in the same area to broadcast to.
I see the usual slew of white knighting trolls are out in force.
Sorry about your addiction
ya only let 2500 of the 10,000+ in the sever can’t even hold 200 players in one zone.
