AQ doom and gloom

It really doesn’t look that bad, some of the class changes look interesting as well as set bonus plus the timeworn or whatever the stacking buff is.
Blood moon has interesting items, r14 weapons are more or less a stam buff but still usable for alts… or decent in pvp anyways

World buff changes will be super good to be able to not worry so much about them

We might be ok

People who play SOD don’t have much interest in vanilla or fresh. Or they would be playing on classic era. Going to fresh from SOD is like going backwards.

Yea I’ll probably level just because that is fun, but no real interest after that.

I agree the bringing bloodmoon back is a good call, the problem with next phase is it contains AQ, shouldve just skipped to naxx and deleted AQ entirely this time around

Yes my lock feels like a finished well rounded product in SoD. I enjoy vanilla environment and SoD does the trick. I won’t be going anywhere. I should of rolled here a lot earlier.

I’m mostly worried these won’t involve players for acquisition; ie it’ll just be on a vendor (probably rep vendor for each major faction, CC, AD, Hydra, DMF, and TB come to mind). Which is “okay”. But I would prefer to keep ‘the player’ involved as much as possible when it comes to The Economy.

I would have made an Elixir of the Songflower for Alchemist to learn after gathering seeds (item starts a quest) from a Cleansed Songflower that leads to a recipe in the mail. As for Tribute Buffs, require an Enchanter to run the Tribute Run then talk to each Guard to learn a Sigil version of their buff.
…with DMF, must be exalted with DMF and then Sayge will teach you a buff of your choice as a Sigil; again must be an Enchanter.
…Dragonslayer and Rend would be learned, as Sigils, from their respect quest turn-in NPCs by Enchanters.

Make both items (Elixir, Sigils) BoE and sellable on the AH (some BoEs like Conjured items can’t be listed).

Stuff like the Firewater Cauldron, I don’t think are really needed because you can buy those off the AH.

My only problem with this is locking it all to a single profession like enchanting which already has consumables/enchants to make money off of(just like adding more to alchemy would be a mistake) it would be nicer to have other professions get love(or add them to classes like how warrior got their mini ony buff)

Yeah agree on the fire water… I would like them to make the acquisition somewhat interesting and linked to professions in some way or something you can train I duunno. That would be cool and a good idea

It’s really just a case of “for the lore”, because I wouldn’t count the buffs from DMF or the DM Guards as potions.

I suppose they could be ‘drums’, which could give Leatherworking a consumable that is desirable.
