So the AQ crystal starts up on Thursday 21 or Friday 22. Brood rep per kill was 50 to 100 per kill. Now on Monday 25 rep has been reduced to 5 or 10 per kill. So all this does it punish the players who could not play during the “broken” days. So did Blizzard reduce/ban anyone who “abused the bugged rep”? Most likely not so this has happened before and continues to happen every so often. A part of the game is not adjusted correctly. Those who can take advantage of that are rewarded and everyone else is punished. So either accept the mistake and let people earn the rep quick and don’t knee jerk adjust. If it was caught within the first few hours of course fix it. But after days just roll with it. There was/is no harm in people earning rep fast. In a game mode with accelerated time.
They hate you and want you to suffer.
They want you having to mindlessly grind bugs for 15 hours when you just watched people finish in 1.
Thats lowballing it.
Without the tanaris obelisk grind, it took like 70 hours at minimum with a 39 man raid team farming bugs constantly for you.
With tanaris obelisk grind, it would take 20-30 hours and could be pug-friendly since it gives rep to everyone in the raid on each kill.
That said, i agree that making the change after it has been like this for 3 days is just ridiculous and punish those who came late to the party.
