I lost my 43 hunter to the April 3rd DDOS attack. I haven’t heard any response about if anything will be done. The blue post about the streamer deaths earlier made it sound like there would be revives for future DDOS attacks. My character is sitting dead waiting to be revived.
Add your April 3rd death here so we can keep attention on it.
wont play HC anymore until Blizz can sort this nonsense out, this has been going on a lot longer than these recent rash of DDOS attacks, not worth the DC let down anymore, it has grown old.

I mean, I get it, we’re all upset, but I’m still waiting on a rez from the Mar 22 attack. I just wish they’d take a clear stance. Was it a one time thing? Are they done with rezzes at this point? Is there any path forward for those that were clearly affected?
Well im australia timezone so it would be the same day. But it was april 4th for me. 60 warrior DP - onemissclick. Dead to DDoS attack. Giving them a couple weeks to respond or im cancelling my subscription. I only play hardcore. Ive been an off and on wow sub since 2012… but this is a final straw for me. I cant sit down and lose 13days played to a problem on their end with no answer or fix. Especially after they rezzed a bunch of streamers. Vote with your wallet.
Have ya’ll tried being crybaby streamers? That apparently works to get a do-over.
They’re not going to do revives every time. This is their statement as such.
And they don’t wanna hear about it, unfortunately.
There’s probably a better way for this to all be handled, but I don’t have a horse in this race because I don’t play HC or Classic in general, nor do I know how to fix it.

I think it’s ok that they resurrected players because of DDOS attacks they should never happen but Blizzard refuses or is incapable of stopping them.
I also can say this is no longer a hardcore mode and should have a different name without hardcore in the title.

Yea, TBH ‘pure’ hardcore isn’t fun, I remember back when it was an addon and if you died to lag or a DC or griefer you could ask for a rez from the community mods and they would ‘rez’ your character, it just made it more fun cause then if you died to something stupid you could keep playing unlike current ‘hardcore’
