Bring back the council of the black harvest and player-directed class design; people who know the class like the back of their hand and have a commitment to it will always produce a superior product compared to a multiclass dev who works on classes they aren’t passionate about according to their perceived idea of what the class is about.

You are applying to groups on Afflicted week an affix Warlock can do jack squat about. Should be slightly better next week since Warlock can solo Incorporeal.
and what level keys we talking? 18s and 20s? Make your own group and instantly get 40+ dps applying to it and you’ll see why you are getting declined. Unless you have like 3k+ io you are probably not getting invited to those keys on a non meta spec unless you catch the group very early and it has multiple dps spots open.
Tbh I think it’s more of an IO issue than spec issue.
I haven’t had many issues applying to keys as affliction when I have done it.
However I think your 2500 io is the thing holding you back.

Aff isn’t anywhere near as bad as you’re acting like it is.

I miss the old Affliction. It got the same rework as Unholy DK and was ruined.
Apply as demo and when key is about to start swap really quickly to affliction.
Applying as demo won’t fix his low io.
