I’ve been playing WoW on MacOS for 19 years now, and on Apple 5K displays for the last 10.
I’m thinking about building a PC for the first time in order to get better fps, however, looking at WoW on most non-apple displays I’ve seen…it looks terrible.
I know Apple’s displays are not cutting edge, but they have some kind of magic and WoW looks really good on them
Does anyone know of a display that I could use for a PC that looks as good as an Apple 5k display?
I have a LG UltraGear 27” 144Hz. I’ve been very pleased with it.
That Apple “magic” is probably the glossy screen. 99% of Non Apple displays are matte.
Had a good experience with an lg monitor too
They also have good ui I find for adjusting volume, settings etc.
I can “dock” my macbook into the monitor as the monitor has USB ports for the keyboard and mouse.
and of course the picture is good
I have a gaming monitor next to my LG and its been a pain with one HDMI port and no easy way to adjust built in speaker volume even though the image quality was solid for the price.
