Hello Eveyone
I have looked up in Google and in this forum, and I haven’t found the answer to my question, and I believe is really simple.
I’m using a druid and I’m running Old Raids just to get some appearances from gear, but I have also looted some gears for specific classes, so this is the question…
By getting this gear from other classes, will the appearance be unlocked if I change my char to that specific class and wear it? Btw, the Items are Soulbound, so I’m storing them at the bank.
Let me know your comments
EDIT: Thank you everyone!! my question has been answered with your comments!
So if you run an old raid on your druid and get a piece of tier for, say, rogue, it will not unlock that appearance if you were to log on to a rogue, even though it’s leather armor. You’d have to farm rogue tier on a rogue in order to unlock the appearance.

Basic rule: If you can’t use it, you can’t mog it or register it in your catalogue. You have to be able to actually equip it.
I think it’s way too strict of a rule myself, but it is what it is.

What Orcus said. Class sets that are restricted by class can only unlock mogs if they drop for the classes they are restricted to. Just look in your chat log to see if it shows you unlocked the mog. If it doesn’t report anything, then you didn’t unlock the mog (or already have it unlocked previously).
There are however, class agnostic duplicates of most of the class specific set pieces if you’re talking about legion raids. You won’t get the full set but you’ll get most of it. So for example, I can basically look like a druid on my DH using my almost complete Tomb of Sargeras lookalike set. But note that if I ran a druid through it to get the missing pieces, while they would unlock for the druid, they wouldn’t for my DH. A mog that is class restricted with no corresponding class agnostic lookalike version is forever locked to said class and can never be mogged by another class.

You can’t change your character to another class, if that’s what you mean.

Oops, sorry, I meant to change to another character that would be that class…! Sorry!
