So yesterday, just before buying my mount, my 39 stepped into Orgrimmar’s zeppelin to Grom Gol. When I stepped in, IDK if the game was still kind of “charging up” or what, but the moment I get into the Zep, it goes into a loading screen, showing either kalimdor or eastern kingdom map. It got stuck there for a while, and then went into the Azeroth map loading screen, typical of boats/zeppelins. When it finished loading, it again took a while, it went into the Eastern kingdom map loading screen, this time shorter. When it finished loading, my character (Horde) appeared in “Alterac Valley”, which wouldn’t have been too terrible, if it wasn’t that it was the Human entrance to Alterac Valley, the cave loaded with 60s dwarves elites and an Epic human elite roaming around too. I didn’t even get a chance at dropping a target dummy before I was dead.
AFAIK, no one has ever get resurrected on this game due to a bug, right?
PD: Funniest part, there was another soul fragment by my side. Now both our souls share eternity in oblivion.

This bug happened to me way back in 2005 when I thought I was entering deadmines. Instead I was teleported to that same cave and had no idea where I was until I ended up questing through there weeks later

There are things that shock me about the no being rezzed. Blizzards logs can easily confirm or deny everything you just said!
more than actually ressing, i think the actual shame is not fixing these kind of bugs that my guy up here has known of since 2005.

the WoW Gods have given you a warrior’s death
they would have to pay money to someone to be reviewing these logs and resolving death appeals.
A small indy company like Blizzard, that survives on cosmetic transactions solely, could not afford such luxury.

This is the interesting part. This is clearly a reproduceable bug. But yeah, there are no appeals. About 1000 players lost their characters in the last “server hiccup” and Blizzard refused to roll back even 2min.
A roll back would require a person to be working and not just bots

It’s the ultimate community killer.
Deaths are expected. Server blackouts aren’t.
Only takes one server blackout every 2-3 months to kill the community.
There are no appeals. This aint the addon.
Tis not a community killer because it’s been happening since the start and the servers have not been more populated then they are now DP has had 4 layers the past few days.
So you haven’t lost 120-160 friends (that never came back to the game) from a server crash during raid? Can’t tell you how many people gave their stuff away on banks alts and etc and dipped.
I have lost a few friends, but with that being said I have lost more over the expansion in retail wow then on hardcore. 1st rule of hardcore is you GO AGANA
