Since yesterday the game has been crashing whenever I try to log into a character. I can get to the characer selection screen but can’t get past it. I’ve tried running the repair and scan tool and deleting my cache, wtf, and interface folders. This is the error I’m getting:

I’m guessing that you might be using an older PC … ? Apologies if I’m mistaken …
I got a similar crash recently and it stemmed from a change to the in-game graphics setting. I was able to modify the settings from the character select screen menu to get back into game. I changed the graphics level from 4 back to the 3 that I had been using.
I dunno, but, it might work the same for you. Good Luck.

This occurs today when I open Battle Net and hit the play button - WOW don’t even start so I have no means to adjust said video settings.
Any ideas?
