As any true American should.
Then when I was done I played some Hogwartz Legacies.
Forgot elves
World history would point out that this is not a modern day issue but one that has been happening throughout civilization.
I never played it since I’m not a big Harry Potter fan, but I enjoyed watching YouTube videos of players nuking NPCs with the killing curse.
difference between jealousy and bein a jerk, is that one you want the wealth, the other is a guy buying out your work place just so he can make your life a living hell.
or someone pays someone to kill someones character online everyday till they log out (this happened btw)
ehrmagerdz i did, editing rite now
I like to make a habit out of playing games that people are complaining about. I’m not a troll or anything but nothing makes me happier then making the type of person that gets upset over me playing a video game very angry. So I’ll play it, I’ll stream it, then I’ll sip tea and laugh at them as they try to berate me with what ever views they have on the game.
It’s a game people… lets just chill and play right?
Rich people and whales. Same person, just different levels of income. Both still tend to be jagoffs, though.
It’s less the game itself in that case, more an unwillingness to support (indirectly or otherwise) an individual who perpetuates ideas that have gotten members of my close family hurt by people who don’t think they have a right to eixst.
Not touching that IP with a 10 foot pole.
Ah, but the contempt poor characters have for rich characters is justified, as if the rich characters got it dishonestly. You never meet a poor character that is just plain lazy.
All the rich people I know are vastly more lazy, because they have the resources to be lazy.
That sucks, sorry that happened to you. It’s still a game and people should be able to play what ever game they choose without people trying to criticize and judge them for it. A product is good even if the producer is evil. Otherwise nobody would use computers because literally everything comes from china and we shouldn’t support them right?
Certainly, which is why it’s my choice ;p
The thing is the creator of said IP has directly said that she uses the royalty money from things like Hogwarts Legacy to fund anti-trans legislation getting passed. It’s public record that she does this as well.
It’s not much of a stretch that people don’t want to contribute to that with their own money, and they don’t want to associate themselves with other people that help contribute to funding legislation that hurts their loved ones. I certainly do not, personally.
I have to say, most - not all - most people I know living on a wisp and a prayer have bad priorities. They have more “I wants” than “I needs.”
to be fair, so does microsoft blizzard. You literally can’t get away from these companies supporting both sides of the isles because that is how lobbying works.
Yeah, it is still the sickness of them wanting material wealth. It gets into their mind, greed is what we call it.
Did you not read this forum during early access? The poor people hate the rich people…
You’re totally right on that and I agree, but she’s like the Voldemort of anti-trans public figures and at the bare minimum I don’t wanna fund her or hang out with people that do. My girlfriend is trans and it would be extremely weird if she came home to me playing Hogwarts Legacy in the living room lol.
