Turning in the lost items in Hallowfall for Lost and Found achievement. When turning in an item to Kiera Horth, she says that she had won it off some “rich fool”. Then she proceeds to say how she kicked his butt or some crap.
My question, why mention that he’s “rich”? Why is that a necessary piece of info?
Imagine saying “poor” or some other adjective that would happen to trigger the wrong people.
Please stop the subtle comments in dialog that mirror modern day politics in the real world. fairgame$ is a game about hating/stealing from rich people and it’s getting shred to pieces. That’s why Blizzard are adding these types of comments very subtly.

It’s. A known fact that most non rich ppl hate rich folks.
Due to them have a reputation of using said wealth to hurt others or hurt others to keep said wealth bigger.
Rare were the times rich ppl cared about the poor.

If you want an actual literary breakdown, it’s to demonstrate that the person losing that item wouldn’t be ruined or anything by losing something of moderate value, because they can easily afford to replace it. Otherwise the person you’re speaking to would come off as more of a bad person.
“I stole this from some poor fool” is monstrous and objectively worse.
