So sub has made its way to the bottom of the raid dps charts, which is where blizz looks to tune specs. And the past 2 tuning passes sub has not gotten touched, while EVERY SINGLE underperforming spec has.
This on top of sub getting nerfed for no reason whatsoever at the start of the season when we gained 80% of our power in the first few weeks meant that we just fell behind once people started getting gear. And then once we fell behind (as predicted) there’s been no compensation.
Please help devs.

Mind you they did the same thing with Warriors S1. And it was called out. Frequently.
Blizz dont care. They dont even know their own specs/classes

Overcompensatory nerf of the tier set from ptr to live plus Sectech nerf way overshot the tuning mark, but going back on those choices seems like too big of an ask at this point. It did really suck seeing all the spec below and a few above us getting buffs and sub getting ignored once again

There’s actually no point in having class forums anymore either. They don’t read this or care. Singular Focus from deathstalker is still breaking stealth.

The truth is upon us.
No need for class forums
No need for MVPs.
No need for CM blues
No need for most WoW devs.
AI is the future.
Buckle up.

join me in promoting the fact rogue should have CDR on thistle tea and bake it into the spec instead of the bottom of the tree.
they took CDR benefits from Vanish from us and least give us something.
and Sub rogue needs a rework, how good would so sort of shadow build up that lets us go into shadow form for a certain amount of time.

No. Just delete Thistle Tea and put an actual capstone in its spot.
It would suck. Sub plays, right now, the smoothest it has since it was killed off in BfA. It needs the least work of all 3 Rogue specs, certainly no where near rework levels of bad. Youre now 2 for 2 with bad ideas and have shown a clear lack of understanding of the class.

Rogue as a whole is long over due for severe reworks. They keep taking a crowbar to us every few months leaving us more broken state but will tune dps numbers as if it’s a proper fix. We’re playing and often doing well despite the state of the class.

We Sub need recover Dance faster. Buff deepening shadow to 1s per combo point for start. Then fix vanish to 2s atleast. And last fix the stealth bug. This expansion is the worst of All spec of Rogue.

I can only speak from a leveling experience, but I essentially have 2 main characters (Warlock & Death Knight) and a bunch of alts I rotate around with (Warrior, Monk, Hunter, Priest and Rogue) and while I have fun with my Rogue & do well, something about it feels “off” in comparison to the other classes I play and it has kept me from playing my Rogue to the same degree as the other classes. The flavor & theme and style is still there, the pieces are there but the picture doesn’t exactly fit all the way.

It likely never will imo. Even as bad as 2 of them are, the hero talents really bring a lot together for the rogue specs. During the leveling process so many crucial bits and pieces are added over time that im not sure how one would make it smoother without trivializing what makes the class as a whole so unique in the first place.
Its a lot better than years prior with more baseline aoe though.
Sub doesn’t need a full rework, just some polish and fixing a few pain points like very lackluster talents, a litany of bugs, slightly increased cdr per combo point from Deepening, fix Secret Technique clones (they don’t hit certain bosses, can independently drop Winning Streak! from current tier set, split damage events aren’t as fun as seeing one big number). The gameplay, most notably Trickster, is arguably the most fun the spec has been as far back as I can remember so any rework that disrupts that gameplay loop would be a step in the wrong direction.
Additionally, for the love of god give sub better visuals. Ky’veza/Void Reaper’s Contract provided what could be a much more visually-rewarding Secret Technique visual in having the shadow clones dash through your target instead of the little purple poof/flourish visual it has now. For our biggest ability that we almost entirely play around, it looks extremely boring and there’s no real visible feedback like there is with abilities like Demolish for warriors.

Outlaw and Sub do not need full reworks.
Outlaw is already doing better with the bug fixes to BF not hitting dead targets, Deft Maneuvers actually doing damage, and Grand Melee registering the damage of Blade Flurry when the buff is up.
Fix the bugs as I have stated with others since TWW alpha then make tweaks to the specs to flow better:
- Assassination another way to enter stealth and better energy regen baseline
- Outlaw make several RTB talents baseline and merge the BF talents.
- Sub give back some power lost due to Inv Shadow dust loss.
- Rogue general tree at the bottom with keystone talents need more work (eg Thistle, TEa, ER, Deeper Strategem, and Cold Blood)
Rogues are very easy to fix but the devs need to dedicate at least one patch cycle to address these issues.

You called for the removal of Shadow Dance.
That was a great decision by BlizZard. Mensa level.

Well hey, at least now we’re doing less than Aug so they’ve gotta do something…right?
Cancelling my subscription was the right move, subtlety being this ignored is just insulting at this point

Yeah fixing Sub and Outlaw is very easy with a few change here and there. I have no evidence that a full rework is really necessary.
Top priority is Sub and Outlaw need to pump more damage. Sub more so while Outlaw needs to have more consistency in DPS.
Second priority is to make Outlaw talents make more sense and less punitive while giving back Sub some functionality due to the loss of Inv Shadow dust.
/done.
Easy fixes.
Pay me BlizZard.

They “fixed” Rogues to this state. blizzard is like a boomer who thinks nothing is wrong with the economy. They won’t touch anything until a mob has formed, then they will tell us that we are over reacting and that they will look at it. Then they will do something that won’t help anything.
