Is anyone currently having issues with AoW and JotW? I’m getting crits that would normally proc AoW, but nothing happens. Buff never shows up, exo and fol are never instant - same with JotW. Replenishment buff never arrives, and on judge, I don’t get 25% of the mana back as stated…
Anyone else having this problem? Literally makes the game unplayable unless you like popping runic mana pots on cd while using seal of wisdom…
Did you enable the “preview talents” feature and forget to click learn?

You got 24,612 mana back from JOTW and you also had replenishment, now I am on my phone and you run 2 rets so replenishment could of been from him, however you are getting 25% mana back from JOTW as shown, so it’s safe to assume the other buff is working.
Unless I’m confused as to what you were asking for as I don’t know ret that well?
Maybe you’re thinking General fight where you can’t get mana back?
tldr:
AoW and JotW were not working after being mc’d by skeram in aq40. After clearing aq40, and mc then closing out the game and leaving my pc off for 2hrs the procs started working like normal again. Mind Control might be causing some odd talent bugs for paladins and potentially other classes too. Hopeful it’s just limited to that one boss.
Edit: Was doing aq trash clears to up my brood rep. Decided to do a FC with some new friends, and after prophet, no more replenishment.
Went to go look for logs this afternoon (I use combatlog weakaura to autorecord raids) - there are none for my aq40 raid, and none for my MC raid (even though I got hand of rag). I’ve never had a raid not record like that, so that’s odd too. The bug persisted through open world content as well.
Upon having my computer off for 2 and a half hours (exiting the game before made no change), both replenishment and art of war are correctly triggering.
The only thing I can think of is that either the MC from Skeram or one of the other million mobs in aq40 that has mc caused some sort of issue with my talents. I was running with a druid and shammy on first boss, we were gonna wipe due to mc, so I di’d the shammy. Druid brez’d me, and died to boss. I accepted the brez and was immediately mc’d and the boss reset to full hp. I have no idea how that interaction would work, but I’m posting this followup because if it DOES have something to do with MC mechanics this might get kinda nasty in icc.

Nope, you’re 100% correct. This was just today, and honestly kinda broke my brain trying to figure out why these weren’t triggering on ANY mob.
Please buff ret and make it 1 button Blizz. This current iteration is too complicated for pally players.

tldr: Stuff works now but I believe there may be a bug with either prophet skeram or mind control mechanics in general.
My AoW and JotW were not activating after an encounter with prophet skeram in aq40. We were gonna wipe, I di’d the shammy, druid brez’d me and I took it right after he died. Upon rezzing I was immediately mc’d (which is normal) and he reset. After that, no replenishment, no jotw mana back on judge, no aow procs. I spent the rest of the time using seal of wisdom and popping mana pots every 2 mins just to keep going.
I have never had an issue like this, this is honestly breaking my brain on how this happened. Next time I will record a video for all the haters (lol). I wish I had my logs, they were not saved for some reason through the auto-record weakaura (combatlog). Not deleted, they just don’t exist. Very odd.
Anyway, just want to point out there may be a pretty big issue here heading into icc.

This is not in ulduar as previously stated, this was just today. Don’t have logs because the weakaura didn’t actually create them. First time ever.
The mc treated me as friendly to the boss and enemy to raid as it properly should have. After 2-3 seconds I was friendly to the boss AND the raid. Walked away from skeram, and re-engaged. Only this time without replenishment and aow.
I’m hopeful this is a one-off bug and it’s limited to just Skeram.

Yes it is a bug. Happened to my dk in most aq40 runs and it disabled my talent which reduces DND cd by 15secs (so that is very easy to reproduce and verify this bug).
A simple fix is to switch to another spec (assuming you have dual spec) and back.
Thank you, I wondered if that would work but since both of my talent trees (pve, pvp ret) have the same talent, I was unsure if it would do anything.
Glad I’m not insane though and that this has happened to someone else! For sure the weirdest wow bug I’ve encountered. Still hoping it’s only in aq40 and not elsewhere (don’t usually get mc’d so no idea if it’s just that one mechanic)…
Think it should work given my DK has the same talent to reduce DND CD in blood/unholy specs. Hope that works on pally too.
had a similar issue with honor among thieves. root cause for mine was specing and learning the talents in combat made them not work until you relogged.
