AOTC question

Answered and solved.

AotC is Heroic, not Mythic, and 360 is way too low to do it without being carried.

BoD drops 400 ilvl, CoS drops 405 and 410 ilvl, subtract like 15 ilvl from that for a bare minimum starting point (with the acknowledgment that pugs don’t generally want “bare minimum”). And if you’re truly not particularly good, there’s a good chance kills don’t happen in one pull and you get noticed and kicked.

Buying a run might be your best bet, make sure you do it with gold, not cash. Gold is acceptable, cash breaks the ToS.

While I don’t particularly endorse buying runs, yes that would be the easiest way… 400 ilvl seems to be the expectation on pugs right now.

You could check out perky pugs though - they have a discord channel - just search for it. You might find a group there for free. Just search for it.

Thanks for the reply. I will keep pushing his character and get a 400 ilvl if I can before the patch. Thanks again for the advice.

Also just a heads up account Sharing can get his account closed, but as others said probably easiest to just buy the AOTC.

You should never admit to account sharing on the forums.

Just this statement, would make you logging on to his account to play it on their behalf would probably be considered as account sharing, which violates Blizzard’s terms of service and can result in an account ban.

Blizzard’s rules if I remember correctly only stipulate account sharing is ok if the account in question is sharing it with children (minor children, not adult).

So tread carefully.

Thank you, Praetorian. I own both accounts. Have had them both since he was 12.

Does your kid play alliance or horde?

Thanks. I am not account sharing. I have owned both accounts since 2004. Both are used in the same household, same ip address.
