AOTC groups in LFG lol

inspect them and I would say half of the raid has NO AOTC achievement. Cool! But you want me to link you AOTC? ok…thats fair.

Using the raider io addon for the first time last patch caused me to see quite a lot of groups being formed by people wanting you to link Aotc without even having it themselves for Sanctum (even on normal). Wouldn’t it be best to just say you want a carry?

Welcome to pug raiding in wow.

A large portion of them is a group leader looking for a free boost.

Maybe they don’t have their mains linked to their alts on Raider IO.

But it is forever hilarious seeing someone say 5/11 M lead and hovering over their status and it’s 2/11 N with <500 M+ Score.

lmao.

If you don’t link your account to raiderio it won’t show what your main has done. If you truly want to know, you can look them up on armory, assuming they haven’t blocked their profile.

Just an fyi.

Lead the raid, reap your rewards.

Why go through the hassle of organizing a group if you don’t get anything out of it? I haven’t led a raid since WoD.

There’s a guy I know who would regularly lead AOTC raids this expansion who would sneak a carry into the raid who would pay him gold under the table to be allowed to stay in the raid. He would do this over and over across the span of weeks.

Heck, I know this myself first hand. I used to regularly lead raids and reserve loot for myself. My raids would go smooth as butter and just about everyone would be happy until I invoked my loot privilege and the drama started. I lived this stuff first hand on a regular basis whereas a lot of the defenders argue from a place of pure theory.

I think they mean AOTC is instant inv… lots of people wana get carried. Just make your own group if it bothers you that much…

I got AOTC over a month ago in PUG and IMO it was easier to PUG clear SFO earlier in the tier. Now all of the decent players who just PUG have farmed out SFO and have no reason to go back.

Most of these things are easier to PUG. I remember PUG’ings 16s and 17s in no tier and 252 gear. I see people in 265+ and 4-pc brick 15s now, it’s pretty cringe.

Going off on a tangent here, but people really, really, really underestimate the apparent skill gap in this game, its crazy. People whine and moan about borrowed power and grinds or whatever, but the fact of the matter is the worst players in the game are simply not good.

Alright, tangent over, just something that came to mind after some more recent dumpster PUG keys (been trying to just fill Vault on some characters as I’m losing interest in pushing IO on three characters simultaneously).

Yea, I was like 246 when I did KSM and Jailer’s Gauntlet layer 8. I think I was around 260 when I got 3k. It’s harder to find keys now as well that don’t instantly brick. Even seeing players just at 3k now that seriously suck. But w/ the conduits thing, I think people are buying 3k carries.
