AOO is up with 400 loot

Are you forgetting that a bunch of Horde also coast through WM for their bonuses?

What bonuses? We don’t get freebies.

EDIT: Oh, that 10% increase experience bonus. Where the Alliance? Free Welfare Gear?

Probably me, I just don’t have the strength to face the mighty Alliance.

It’s not just XP, dearie. At max level you get 10% to WQ rewards (ie. azurite or gold or whatever).

But the fact that you think only Alliance turn it on just for the perks is… Incredibly silly. AoO may have never even been a thing if Horde didn’t go into WM for bonuses.

And yet, when AoO first started, the Alliance proved that they had the numbers, and strength to go against the Horde. But no, only the bonuses will entise the Alliance to turn on WM. And when they have finished, they turn Warmode back off. And considering there is also a 20% bonus for the Alliance, yeah, AoO should’ve never been a thing, since.

And as for the bonuses, they should be more PVP Related. But no, Blizzard likes to ruin things in there own game and make a lot of things, including Warmode a huge failure.

I found in-game video of some Alliance turning on War Mode to get that sweet AOO:

Oh i pretty much stopped arguing with him. Not worth it

You do realize they told us that while the gap has decreased, Alliance have never fielded the same numbers as Horde…right? We only get AOO when the bonus is 20% or more. It was upwards of 30% bonus when they implemented AOO. I’ve never, ever seen it drop below 15% which means Alliance is still severely outnumbered. With that being said, either you’re wrong or I have no idea what your claim that “Alliance proved that they had the numbers, and the strength to go against the Horde” means because they’ve never not been outnumbered the entire expansion.

I mean. If you alliance didn’t have the quest and we did. You’d be complaining instead. So…

I don’t think incentives are bad, just the way they handled it. A 10-20% boost of junk is not a real reason to do anything. As for the AOO quest it’s really only good for new characters and is unfair to Horde. I know Asmongold made a few good points about this.

I really don’t think this is true. With every single form of content I find Alliance lack players compared to the Horde, other than RP people. With Realm pop we can see Horde have around a 4% population advantage in the NA servers but we have no real numbers and many people like myself have tons of alts inflating the real number.

I think by now the effect the sharding bug had on things is no longer a problem and with AOO kicking out some of the PvE Horde only there for a free 10% rewards things are fine now.

You should try to adopt Sara’s style of debate then, tbh. It’s really effective at wearing down an opponent, you don’t even have to be slightly above average IQ.

Just call me a male human paladin, call everything you don’t agree with a freebie, don’t even bother to engage with the points, and when you’re losing and the other person claims that you haven’t used a single fact or provided evidence to support your argument whip out the CoC on em’.

Works like a charm.

This is really the only thing I care about. It’s just not fair for the Horde. And I do think in general that PvP should have PvP incentive, so conquest and honor. Just bugs me that one faction definitely gets special treatment. There’s no denying that here.

I disagree because now the Alliance PvErs get better rewards for briefly turning it on them off, and PvErs Horde side get nothing but camped for quest credit. But it’s really just not something that’ll likely see a fix…ever, I feel.

I’m legitimately curious to hear what Asmongold’s thoughts on the AOO quest is. Can you give a clip or VoD of him talking about it? He usually is pretty right about what he says.

I was literally 1 kill away from horde slayer on one of my alts when I pushed in just a little too far and got rushed by a raid that had formed specifically to counter my party that was farming horde. I was pretty salty about it at the time.

I haven’t had that happen to me. I have Horde slayer on 5 toons, and I have yet to experience something like that.

I don’t know about his opinion of AOO but more so Warmode incentives as a whole. I don’t watch him often so I would ask someone else to post the recent clip if they know which stream it was from.

His viewers are pretty much a cancer but I agree with most of his views on the state of the game.

And yet you are pretending like sharding didn’t screw with Alliance in the beginning for who knows how long. Alright cool

When they put a price tag on participation yeah they messed up, but that’s for both sides. A lot of people, including me, have said that they should have never added bonuses to begin with. Now WM actually has a measurable reason to participate though and they can’t ever get back from that.

But don’t sit there and pretend the Horde don’t cheese it for perks.

Wait… but you haven’t provided any evidence either though?? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Completely agree.

And I have never once turned on WM, nor do I ever plan on doing this incentive quest.

I literally said I’d give you the VoD of the Q&A that I’m basing my arguments off of, but you never asked for it.
