So I just hit 21 and got 2/3 imp blizzard and I’m very excited to start trying aoe farming.
As horde, has anyone found any other spots to aoe farm other than hillsbrad for the early 20s? Most guides recommend it and i understand why, but it’s a gank heavy and high competition area. One guy suggested the excavation site in southern barrens, any other places?
The problem is that a lot of the popular spots are probably being farmed already. I can’t think of any in the level 21 range, but all you need is to find a place where the enemies don’t have a shoot feature or spellcasting.
Just get 22 single taget for 3/3 blizz. it helps a lot.
The dwarfs south of camp T north of RFD in barrens aren’t to bad of a spot. You have to watch out for the foreman who do the torch toss. So take them out first then you can kill off all the others as they are melee only.
The scorpions and grubs by field of giants are to bad of a spot if you can make sure the small scorpions who spawn get killed before they get to you.
The mines in Hillsbrad are a great place to AoE farm as well, because none of the mobs are ranged, and Alliance have no reason to go that far out of the way for friendly mobs.
The only issue is, almost none of the good spots are low enough for your level 22 criteria besides the Fields.
Even the south barrens digsite (which is an excellent spot I used myself), would light you up with resists at your level.
2/3 imp is actually better than 3/3 theory crafted for CoC. Guess I’m farming dwarves lol… maybe I’ll try the farm first idk
is that so the CoC still applies it’s slow? Since 3/3 blizz is higher percnetage i know CoC won’t apply. So with 2/3 you would also get it renewed from CoC for an increased length of slow?
I may respec at 26 then when I get CoC.
