So I honestly have been struggling with Evoker flame shaper, I’d rather do Scale commander instead… but the damage output between the two is kind of significant… So I am stuck with flame shaper. I was using the “one button rotation” to see how the game believes flame shaper is supposed to play out and I noticed that while doing it, firestorm casted on the target and there was no indicator needed. If this option is available in the one button rotation, is there any way to have it available baseline?
Let me be honest, this won’t fix my problem with flame shaper, that is just me in general. But I’d like to know if there could be an option for all spells with indicators to have an option to place it at the target? I noticed they gave the option to shadow priests and their void crash, why not available to all?
I’m assuming that’s an AOE circle you’re placing such as something like Blizzard, or Earthquake? Just make a macro that drops it either at cursor, or at target
[@target] doesn’t work for firestorm, or any other targeted aoe. That’s why shadow crash and earthquake specifically have alternate talents that do cast at target.
This is kind of what I am asking about. Why don’t other similar skills have this option?
It already exists in the one button rotation for flame shaper to just cast it at the target.
I also want this for volley for MM hunter, the one button does it so why should I have to aim it manually? I’d be less bothered if the spell didn’t cast on the ceiling occasionally
unless you’re in the top 1% you arent being forced to go with the meta instead of what you enjoy

This thread was more about giving the option to remove indicators to all skills that have one since it functions like that in the one button rotation for flame shaper and is available to other classes
also, that isn’t true actually, I have been removed from +10’s because I was Augment. They didn’t know how I would perform, they just said sorry don’t want aug and removed me. I have had healers leave our group when they saw I was Augment. This is kind of the reason I have moved to Dev so I can grind dungeons while my friends are offline. +10’s aren’t the top 1%, but some people do care about what is in their group.
Also, I am addicted to being the #1dps, if I know flame shaper is better, I will want to play it. Even if I like scale commander better.
