I’m having an issue while gaining AoE type buffs from other players. It appears that whenever I’m on my warlock I do not receive any AoE buffs such as gift of the wild or aspect of the pack as well as all paladin aura’s. This problem also affects gaining any buffs from totems such as totem of wrath or the mana gaining totem as well as getting heroism/bloodlust.

Can you confirm if your pvp flag was enabled or disabled at the time or the pvp flag status of the players who are giving the AoE buffs? If not, then make sure you and everyone in the group/raid literally types: /pvp [if you right click your player portrait and pvp is enabled still type /pvp]
If this does not work I will have to think about.

I guarantee this is why. Its because TBC Classic is based off the Shadowlands client which has War Mode. Prior to WM you would inherent the pvp flag status of a target when buffing a player [which is how it works in TBC just like classic] but there is no pvp flag status in retail WM is either on or off.
