Anzu is not tamable

If you use Beast Lore on him, he claims that he is tamable now, but the tame button does not actually work on him.

Classes

  • Angerhoof Bull, Anzu, Blaithe, Doe, Greathorn Stag, Irewing, Motorback Ape, and Porkchop are now tamable.

  • Ji-Kun, Ssinkrix, Qroshekx, Xaarshej should now retain their names when tamed.

Cannot tame as of 02/04/2020. Tried with two hunters.

Was coming here to say the same thing. Beast lore says he’s tamable but when you try to tame him you get “Creature not tameable.” Please fix this :smiley:

Tried earlier today just to confirm, he’s not tameable yet beast lore shows the opposite.

Still untameable, crossing my fingers that tomorrow’s maintenance will fix the problem.

I really wish they would fix it! I would love to have Anzu in my collection :frowning:

I’ve checked yet again and my hunter alt still can’t use Tame Beast on Anzu.

I’ll post another update after next week’s reset. If it’s still not fixed, I’m going to assume Blizzard doesn’t want to bother with the issue. (And if that does prove to be the case, they ought to update the incorrect hotfix note.)

Agreed! Don’t tell me I can tame him, and it doesn’t work. I saw someone in a battleground with Blaithe which frustrates me because I did those quests years ago and can’t do them again…

If you’d like, I can run a character out there and get to that quest, and just not complete it. I can summon him for you when ever you’re ready =)

I’m sorry to say that nothing has changed. Beast Lore still says Anzu is tameable, with Tame Beast returning the ol’ invalid error.

I’ve reported the bug so many times now… like c’mon blizzard. you would think this would be an easy fix…

Maybe I should not complain: tried to tame it yesterday, Anzu is still not tameable, killed it, got the mount instead.

So, did the Devs fixed their hotfix to fix Anzu today?

No. I just checked and Anzu still returns an error.
