The Primus statue doesn’t wear clothes. It’s a statue.

it does, you’d know that if you did maldraxxus campaign. First we find bracers and put on statue then cloak.

Me and my friend were in Brussel once. There is a statue of a naked boy peeing in a fountain. We were having a drink in the bar next to it. We suddenly hear people chanting and dancing. They climbed over the fence dressed up the statue in clothes and left again after making some music.

So I guess some weird tradition?

Given the nature of Litches I’d say they are key components to his resurrection.

Bringing the Primus back alive is the key to defeating the Jailer and Sylvanas if he is dead in the first place. We don’t have enough information to know for sure.

Still waiting for the “twist” to happen.

Because the Primus lost his clothes while on a drunken after battle escapade one night and hasn’t been back since because he doesn’t want to his subjects to see him nude…so we’re putting his clothes on a statue in a public sanctum hoping he’ll come back for them…which he probably won’t (too many eyes).

Maldraxians lost primus himself, dressing up statue kinda weird

Unless this is some kinda Medusa “turned to stone” type scenario then yeah, even then, how would THEY know he was turned to stone? Also why are his clothes even scattered here and there to begin with? I still say the drunk party scenario fits all too well…

Came with clothes, the question is why did you take them off?

The same way people decorate statues irl during festivals and so on I would guess. Also one must remember that everything aside from the player is constructed of anima in the Shadow lands so having the clothing fit the statue is not that big a stretch.

At least if the Primus is The runecarver and the statue carver in Maldraxxus pulled a Sphinx…then that would explain why Primus’ clothes are scattered across Maldraxxus…sort of…still creepy…

i assume for 2 reasons.

  1. the clothes are basically like legendaries and hold massive amounts of power thus why the other houses kept them well 1 didn’t even know they had it which i think is the bracers which is the first piece u get.

  2. the statue itself holds maybe like a piece of the primus soul because story wise they already knew the jailer was a bad man so they tried to avoid him escaping the maw to ruin the entire shadowlands. so he keeps a part of his soul inside the statue to kind of watch over/protect his domain i mean look at it now the 4? of the houses turned against maldraxxus and pretty much joined the jailer for more power.

i haven’t played WoW in almost 3 weeks now but that is my guess. i mean if you mean well for your people you;d make sacrafices to keep them safe. it’s literally no different then a parent trying to set up their kids for success as they get older and leaving them say a will or lining them up with a job or w.e. versus say a parent who just kicks out their kid at the age of 18 leaving them to fend for themselves.

pro’s and con’s to both situations btw.

Wait till you see the spin off and how imps gain access to the physical plain. Mmm. Really changes your view on Warlocks’ little pyros and their connections to what people call “swolkins” and Worgens.

Mmm. Moxie…
