Forum wont let me change characters. Anyway, I have shadow priest alt that is currently 589. I only use this for LFR and such. Is there anything worth crafting for the 619 piece? Wowhead has no crafted pieces as BIS. And if it were a melee or ranged physical, I would just default to the weapon or combo. But for a pure caster, I am not sure what to craft that will make a big difference.
Any suggestions?
Vagabond’s Bounding Baton (staff) crafted with the Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension embellishment is really good and worth it in my opinion.
If you’re going to craft this, double TRIPLE check that you chose the Intellect staff and NOT the Agility staff.
The other crafted item that’s worth it is Consecrated Cuffs (wrist), crafted with the Writhing Armor Banding embellishment. This embellishment will boost the one on the crafted staff.
If you only want the wrist item, use Duskthread Lining instead of Writing Armor Banding.
Make sure to craft these with a missive of course. Most likely Algari Missive of the Feverflare for Mastery/Haste.

I use the crafted staff with the Ascension. I’m looking forward to recrafting it with the Gilded Crests.
Crafted items arent bis besides your 2 embellishments because at mythic they’re 3 ilvls lower than other mythic items. Heroic items are all 619 so they’re fine to use. Staff is good value, and then anything else you want to use is fine. Ascension on staff, banding on the other piece.
