My flight style keeps resetting to Skyriding after changing it to Steady flight. Usually happens after logging out, but can’t find an exact pattern. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Can’t say I’ve had this happen, multiple log in/log out and different characters. There do seem to be some bugged things happening to just select characters, so …
It did at first but not anymore.

Yes every time I log in it resets back to skyriding. Also resets every time I get out of a solo shuffle instance.

I’ve noticed that if I mount up from stealth it’ll force me back into steady flying until I recast it outside of stealth.
Also happens sometimes if I’m in combat while I cast it, gonna have to test if it’s still the case now or if they fixed it in maintenance.

Happens to me with no rhyme or reason. Keeps my choice sometimes between logins, other times not. Had it revert to skyriding on an alt when gaining a level as well.

I’ve noticed this as well. Rather annoying that I apparently have to wait for a second or two before mounting after leaving combat if I have skyriding enabled.

Yes, along with Map problems I logged my Main and found that I had never been to SW. WTH??? Logged my other toons, same thing. Thank goodness for dragon flying. LOL. I guess.
I’ve had it happen. It also will set your flying style to Skyriding after doing a flying wq.

My flight bars keep resetting 
Customer support will say, “Make sure your WTF folder isn’t corrupted.”
The best way to do that is to quit the game, rename it wtf.old and login again. A new folder will be created and all your settings will be rewritten. If you have add-ons, you will lose these settings doing this.
This is where many of your per character settings are actually stored. They are stored as LUA arrays in text files and can be saved improperly on occasion. Especially if a add-on that isn’t up to date messes with them.
Could also be an add-on trying to be helpful and changing it for you.
that can’t be true because changing it requires a 5 second cast time. and that isn’t happening. it has to be on blizzard’s end.

Every time I get out of a Battle Ground, my Flight Style will be reset to Skyriding, really annoying.

This is happening on my monk and warlock. Both are in the level 60’s group. I change to steady flight upon log in. Then I join a time-walking dungeon. After I leave group skyriding is active again.
UPDATE
this issue is either connected to time walking dungeons or pre lvl 70 characters.
my warlock leveled to 70 and started doing war within dungeons and flight style is no longer resetting for my warlock

It happens a lot. It’s very annoying to have to reset it multiple times a day.
Mine resets every single time I leave a timewalking dungeon, this was a problem during BC timewalking as well, and typical Blizz still ignores it.

I’ve had it reset on an alt after leaving a dungeon. Sometimes after logging in. Don’t think it’s happened to my main, but holy cow does it get old.
mines seems to reset after any kind of cut out like going into dungeon or delve
