“The first of these earned by your warband each day has a chance to include rare rewards” seems pretty clear to me.
Well, “Has a chance” doesn’t exclude other attempts to have a lower chance.
If it were that, would it not say “the first one opened each day has a bonus chance”, or just not say anything about it at all (like last year)?
Yes. It does. First box has a chance. That’s it. There’s nothing vague about that.
You’re just posting the same, yes, first box has a chance, I get it. But the tooltip doesn’t mention anything about second, third…attempt on your account.
Does it has a chance? It’s true the threads about Hallow’s end drops on alts?
Because there is none. How in god’s name is this lost on y’all??
THE FIRST OF THESE EARNED BY YOUR WARBAND
That’s it. This is simple, plain English.
Hallows end also has the curse system that messes with it. Or players are just reporting inaccurate information, which is known to happen.
they nerfed it so you can’t get it fromalt.
This is either a massive failure of the education system or willful ignorance at this point. Maybe both. I don’t know.
But I’m done. I can’t draw it in crayons to make it any more clear.
Even the GM response links to Wowhead with the information, as well.
That GM response should be a blue post at this point, I just notice there’s 2 post about different GM responses and one mention it’s possible to drop from alt attempts.
Can I shout it again
GMs do not know anything.
Stop expecting them to provide an answer, they aren’t in there hacking the code to see how it works, they’re checking Google for an answer and picking whatever AI summary it spits out in that moment. Why does anyone expect the worst-paid department in the company to have answers?
The only way to ever know if it drops on alts is for players to document it. Otherwise the text on the box is 100% clear how it’s supposed to work. If it doesn’t work that way, GMs still aren’t going to do any better than a coin toss at accurately knowing so.
/hands Sendryn a cup of warm tea.
You’ve done all you can. You can lead 'em to the water, but they gotta choose to drink it on their own.
Thank you, btw, for the clarity. I knew I’d read that but wasn’t certain. Now I’m certain. You are appreciated.
Already had love rocket for years , but my very first ( and only ) box today contained thelove witch sweeper so from my perspective its a 100% drop --LOL
It couldn’t be more clear with the added tooltip. Some folks struggle with understanding
It says the first attempt has the chances of “rarer” items. That means mounts. And there is no need to run it more than once.
Blizz should clarify already because it needs to be taken to a 3rd grade level apparently.
Well the GMs are sending conflicting answers to the question. If it’s clear, their own employees should know.
No but if I get it, I’ll get it on my EU account that I hardly play. Got the Infinite Drake on there a few weeks ago…
This would be the best, simplest and clearest way. Epic box from first attempt which may contain the mount. Green box from future attempts which can’t contain it at allz
Im stopping at 11 runs today. I don’t have the mental capacity to keep going.
I got around 50 tokens and after all these years… I finally got the mask
Based on your posts, I get the impression English is not your first language. Please let me know if I’m incorrect, but what the others have said is true. The tooltip unequivocally states that rare drops can only happen once per day per Warband (Bnet account).
1 - It can be misleading info. If the tooltip indicated “ONLY the first box looted by your Warband can have MOUNTS on it.” we wouldn’t be having this discussion.
2 - It can be wrong due to a bug or someone’s mishap, and still be dropping the mounts on further drops anyway.
No way to know until a developer speaks up, which is incredibly rare, and seemingly only happens on patch notes/interviews.
Regular 2-way communication is sadly pretty much never going to happen again after Ghostcrawler left.
