Anyone want cata reversed?

You didn’t like Uldum?

:laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing:

And some people wonder why Cata was hated.

If you look up “the joke that went on for way too long”, Cata Uldum is there as the picture.

No, no, that’s to be dramatic, or tbd

I’d rather see an expansion named WoW: Extinction. Where the world of Azeroth has been destroyed and everything pre-dragonflight becomes either free to play to level 60 or thrown into WoW Classic.

Everyone seeks refuge in the Dragon Isles soon before the end of Azeroth and Chromie time locks the Isles and receives help pulling off the most bad@ss move ever to be done… Teleporting the Isles to a new world.

New and better lore, better content, true dynamic events, a streamlined timeline, many new races, new classes, towns that can be made into cities and destroyed by the environmental creatures (this meaning dynamic events to keep the local wildlife and population from destroying what players had built up, this would be predestined for the way the cities would build themselves mind you.)

I could go on and on with ideas and make a map for the new world, maybe on another thread.

Gilneas would be cool. I’d like to see a future expansion re-revamp the old world. Give us much better suramar like cities. World quests all over the place, and then you can make much of the old world an expansion agnostic leveling experience as well, instead of just pretending everything pre BFA doesn’t exist.

As for BE/draenei areas, forget about it. Those will never be revamped because they’re part of outland, not EK/kalimdor.

Been asking for a world fix for a long time. Was hoping that at the end of bfa we would some how repair it with all the azerite we all collected. Yet NooooOOOOO

I liked the Alliance Uldum quests. The lion one sucked, but having the Indiana Jones (Harrison Jones) quests were really awesome.

I think we need at least a way to phase it so we can go back before the shattering.

That’d be cool. I always wished they’d take us back to Azeroth and the eastern kingdoms. The old world is my favorite place. The new zones are forgettable to me for some reason. I don’t want to be there so I just do dungeons to level so I can skip it all. I could do 1-60 in old world all day though.

To be honest, it made a lot of sense from an over world point of view as the LK threat shaped most of the precata world. It was arguably the best time to do the world revamp end made the game feel fresh for Alts for the next couple years.

Nothing else aside from “the sword” as really materially impacted the game world. Azeroth feels stale and a lot less dynamic. We see all these changes on all the other planes of existence and worlds, all clamoring for azeroth’s demise, and…it’s largely untouched by most of it.

MoP, BfA, and DF all happen on Azeroth with zero implications to the existing zones almost. It’s a waste of resources, but it’s be nice to see at least some of the races a little more widespread now.

Uldum is one of my favorite zones.

I like what they did with Arathi Highlands and Darkshore. Sign me up for a world revamp.

The Bronze Dragon NPC exists to bring us back to current Cata time, so we don’t technically have to lose anything like the original transition.

Nah , Deathwing was cool

Please no. Duskwood is my favorite zone and one that I didn’t mind the changes Cata brought. Like it better post Cata tbh. My shriveled black goth heart would shrivel more if it went back to Brightwood. :sob:

It was okay at first, but by the time Gobbles was killed I was just thinking, “Can this end? This has gone on forever.”

I bet you were feeling quite fullfilled during bfa and corruption :joy:

Wouldn’t mind them going back and updating alot of the old zones, even a nice graphical update would be sweet and don’t exactly have to have the land be “repaired” so to speak, but it also be nice to see the factions going about rebuilding some of the damage done.

An example maybe being that the Horde go and construct a bridge that directly connects the north and south barrens together.

Well it’s permanently cursed because of Karazhan so yet another return to Kara might fix it? xD

Uldum as a whole wasn’t perfect, but a lot of the references, which is Blizzards strength, was pretty good in this zone.

Yes, they do. Those people are now playing Classic, check it out.

I’m all for some type of healing for these zones. I’d also like an updated Outland!
