Anyone using image sharpening?

If not, I’d recommend it 100%. It takes away a blurriness that you might not notice WoW has, so it can help with eye strain. It’s good paired anti-aliasing turned on.

Is this one of those Nvidia setting things? I just got a new computer and wouldn’t mind checking this out if I can.

Nope.

Go to reshade(dot)me download it, do the thingy, select wow, do Direct X 10/11/12. Download Adaptive Sharpen and Colorfulness - enjoy!

Is it Gpu/CPU intensive?

I used a built in version from AMD application. Doing a quick test I didn’t notice any FPS difference, might not be the case for all though.
Also you may need to launch WoW from your GPU application to force the setting

Oh not at all. I run an i5 7600K and a 1070, turning it on does nothing as far as FPS.

Just be warned, once you DO use it, you’ll NEVER be able to play the game again without it.

Yes, it was recently introduced into the Nvidia control panel. Its at the top of the list under “Manage 3D settings.” Its just called “Image Sharpening” I would suggest turning it on and also checking the box next to gpu scaling.

Thanks for posting this tip. Thank you to the people responding. I will try it tonight. I wasn’t brave enough to do it on a raid night. Looking forward to seeing even better graphics. WOW has come along way. It looks so amazing already.
