Anyone tired of the grind?

I mean… I was good for a bit… but now it’s getting rough.

And let’s be clear, I’m casual. So the “grind” for me has nothing to do with mythic or raids or whatever… I don’t do anything more than heroic dungeons.

I do, however, do the callings everyday for the rep mostly (as I think it will be needed for Pathfinder), gave up on missions a long time ago, do what anima WQs I have time for, and do the Maw everyday.

It’s not that these things are hard. They aren’t, at all. But… day in and day out… it gets to feel like doing chores and then it’s like… do I want the game to feel like work?

So I’ll probably just start doing achieves and old content because I need to spice it up.

Yes, this is me mostly talking to myself. But does anyone feel the same?

Repeating anything over and over gets tiring. See waking up, going to work.

yeah… that’s about the size of it

Dunno there’s barely any actual grind though.

We grind what, a handful of weekly quests that can be done in like 2 hours? An hour for torghast. Everything else is pretty much optional tbh, the vast majority of the anima and covenant stuff, the reps, the callings, even maw dailies, straight up optional.

Got tired of it 7 weeks ago. Have not logged in since. Up to CP 200 on my ESO char now.

There is no reward other than gold for me these days… they need to add a chance at conduits up to 226 (the current cap).

I gave up on the maw dailies… its a horrible awful zone, the most tedious they have done. I still do the weeklies for the stygia to buy the conduits.

I’ll do anything over 250, below that it just takes soo long to get from zone to zone I just CBF. World of loadingcraft getting to where I actually want to be to “play” the game.

I dont, I already took a look at ff14, it wasnt for me, LOL will be the next game I look into.

TBC better be annouced at blizzcon, or a “remastered” vanilla with many changes (e.g tbc talents on vanilla, dual spec, etc).

Yep. I noticed I wasn’t having fun, so I made a level 10 Arcane Mage twink to shake things up.

She blasts strangers through dungeons. It’s a lot more fun

what grind?

i do my 1k anima on the weekend in 30-40 minutes or so. i do callings only if i feel like it. i go in the maw once a week to collect souls and kill a few rares. i don’t even bother with Torghast most weeks. my legendary is already maxed though I’ll probably make another at some point. there’s nothing to grind FOR.

I passed ilevel 200, felt content enough with my progress, and started leveling a bunch of alts

WoW can be a lot of fun when you do what you want to do, instead of forcing yourself to do what you think you have to do. Y’all should try it sometime

I’m to the point where I want to raid log and do maybe 1 M+ a week for the vault tbh. Will probably focus on other games a couple weeks down the line when we’re done with AotC (Several sub 10% pulls, so probably next week, maybe one more to grab it for anyone who couldn’t be there for the first).

At least for a couple months til the next content patch.

Not at all. But I do the things I want to do, at my own pace, and ignore the things that don’t interest me.

Tired of the damn game. Blizz failed with this one.

be glad you never played during MoP-BFA. the daily chores were actual chores, especially MoP.

The MOP dailies at expansion release made me quit the game until Throne of Thunder lol.

Good advice here for sure. I started leveling a resto druid and I’m having a blast doing that. So I’ll probably focus that a little more too

Yes I am, I just level up to 60 and do the Campaign. I get burned out on the World Quests I have done thousands of them since I started playing the game In BFA. I’m starting to think I should be twinking characters rather than maxing their level. Because RBG’s at max are a complete crap show of super geared players wiping their bums with regular players.
