Anyone think thrall is weird in legion expansion?

The legion returns thrall build an earth bridge to go across what looks like a fel river to also rival Jainas ice bridge.

Can’t he just make a stone wall facing the ships that where shooting him. To avoid taking damage? Has anyone thought this as strange?

Thrall has been irrelevant since he went through his emo stage.

All the heroes have a lot of plot holes.

But I guess in Thrall’s case it can be argued that being a Shaman makes his powers dependent on the will of the elements around him and not under his unlimited control.

Running through the Maw with Bane, Thrall, Jaina, and Darion felt very silly since I was the one doing most of the carrying. The opening section of Shadowlands.

Thrall is among several characters that they been writing poorly for years now.

I’m not an RP dude so… I probably would just skip through the dialogue or alt tab til it finished and went on with my leveling.

For the original Broken Shore event, Blizzard seemed to want to:

  1. Have a lot of big name heroes to make the event meaningful.
    and
  2. Kill off a few of them and show the rest were useless.

WHY they did this, I have no idea, but it sure didn’t seem to satisfy anybody.

Well, he’s -THE- Earth Shaman according to Cataclysm. Go’el was all but the wannabe Neltharion stand-in for the Dragon Soul event.

I think they realized it and toned it down a bit for future stuff.

It was slightly amusing having him go “Well, the elements kicked my puppy and stuff, so here’s my Doomhammer I guess. Gonna go do shaman things or something.”

I mean by how engaged the blasts he took it all in it was strange for him not to use the walls of earth.

Thrall’s character was assassinated in Cataclysm. Went from a pragmatic leader trying to balance a faction of misfits to Metzen’s midlife crisis and leaving Orc Hitler in charge of the Horde even after what happened to Cairn.

Thrall has a lot of personalities. Yes, he’s weird. All the best people are.
